I did a search but couldn't find anything on this :
I had a large empire, AI faction started a war against me, sea routes got cut, rebellions in many states. This should be familiar to most players now.
Whats strange is that after 2 or 3 turns, many of these rebel provinces joined other factions. Some joined my enemies, some even joined me!! Yeah, maybe some of these rebels where bribed by the AI, but I didnt bribe anyone but I still got about 3 rebel provinces joining me (I invaded one of them the previous turn but lost)
My question to the dev : Is this some feature whereby rebels will join a faction based on a random chance or is it a bug.
My personal guess is that it is a bug, since if it were a feature, I would expect a popup saying something like "The people of xxxx had pledge alligence to your cause. Their armies are yours to command!" etc etc
