Problem with export_descr_building..
Ave to all!
Before I explain my problem, I've to say that I'm able to add buildings, change description and UI. I've done it since now, without any problem.
But suddently, when I've tried to put a new level in a building, the game crashed.
The building was named hinterland_romanlegion and required faction { roman, } I would like only to add a new level to the other hinterland_romanlegion1 and hinterland_romanlegion2 called hinterland_romanlegion3. But the game crashed.
So I've deleted the new level, and I've putted a new normal building called presidius, with 5 level. The game crashed.:wall:
So I've controlled the numbers of building, and I've discovered that they where 65. The limit is 64, it seems to me. And I've deleted ancient buildings that I've made that were not no more in the game (in any files, I've controlled). And the number of building gone to 61.
I've tried again to put a new building "presidius" and... crashed again!:wall: :wall:
I've also deleted the building hiterland_romanlegion, thinking that it was the mother of all problems, but the problem still appear..
Also with show-err, the game doesn't give me any message.
What I have to do? :juggle2: Please help me...:sweatdrop:

Re: Problem with export_descr_building..
hi, welcome to the forum
it sounds like you are in a bit of a mess!
do you have a backup copy of the EDB file from before you started these changes? It sounds as though you should go back to a previous working version and try the changes again, now you know you have too many buildings start by deleting the un-used ones first and make sure that doesn't break anything! Then try re-adding the new ones.
(it also sounds as though you are modding a mod, and not vanilla RTW - it might help if you tell people which one it is incase they can then offer more advice)

Hi Makanyane, thanks for your kind answer:balloon2:
I think that what you've said is right. I've to restart my changing from a previous file that fortunately I can find. And hoping that all will go well:egypt:
My problem seems very complicated, and I don't want my computer explode!:laugh4:
