Pagan Rome
So... I've started a new campaign in BI as the Western Roman Empire (my first time as this faction).
However, I am playing with the intent to preserve the pagan religion and stamp out the new Christian menace.
The "disposal" of my Christian governors and leaders has not fared well for my popularity and neither has the destruction of all the Christian churches.
Some time into the game, i've lost almost all my control over mainland Europe and my main base of operations is in Britain.
I've only barely managed to avoid total bankruptcy through the capture and total destruction of Rome and other large rebel cities.
Has anyone else attempted to keep the Western empire 100% pagan? Is it even possible, or will i continue to get randomly Christian family members?
I've also never played as the Western Empire before so I don't know if the loss of all of mainland Europe to rebellion is something that is to be expected even without the supression of Christianity.

Re: Pagan Rome
Hello Koval!
There's plenty of information for you in the guides section of this forum, there are quite a few people who try to keep the WRE pagan.
If a character comes of age, there is a certain chance he follows a certain religion. For the WRE that is 10% chance for pagan, 90% for christian. This is the average trigger. Another trigger is the religion of your faction leader. He gives a 75% chance that the new family member will follow his religion. That's the only way I know to influence family members' religion.

Re: Pagan Rome
I like to do the same (maybe I'm biased because I'm a pagan myself),but it is exceptionally difficult with the Western Empire.
