There is an eclipse going on! It is midway through for myself and those who live on the eastern seaboard.

My darned university has so much light pollution! Still, nice to see.

the one good thing about livin in the boondocks is i can always see the nice stars. It was an awesome eclipse.

It was snowing earlier in the evening so I figured I'd have 0% chance of seeing it - as is typical with astronomical events around here. When I glanced outside, I was quite surprised to see a clear sky and the moon halfway to totality.

Here's a picture I took. I wish the focus was better but it is tough to manually focus a DSLR on such dim objects.

Wow... Nice picture Gregoshi. It was foggy here in the Bay Area of California so I didn't bother to check it out(figured people'd post pictures of the event^)
