Well, we lost the number 2 seed. But I'm actually happy about the game, it was great. After last week I thought we were going for a first round exit, this week we actually played like a playoff team. It seem like after each loss we adjust well.

So: The Saints lost, the Packers lost, and the Steelers won. What could be more perfect?
Oh wait.... :shame: :wall: :wall:
Huh, this time it's not Farve falling apart but the entire team.
Also, (@*&$(*@&% last second touchdown pass. And lousy Packers pass defense. :wall:

Poor Diana roots for the Bucs, and she's missed two of the Bucs' three wins this year, the two more impressive ones.
I missed all the Pats good games too. Every one I've seen was lousy... then the Pats do what they just did.
:laugh4: Ah football. It's only good when you're not watching.
Thankfully the Bills got crushed by Atlanta. Maybe now, their senile owner will actually hire a real coach & general manager to run this team instead of fantasizing and expecting no name minimum wage coaches & gms to run a professional operation.
Watching Bill Polian's dynasty team, the Colts, after the Bill's latest stinker today was real nostalgia time for our Bill Polian era. That should be the Bill's dynasty team, Ralph, you penny pinching fool.
Pulling the starters when ahead in the 3rd quarter... :/
Painter's no Sorgi.
Well, here we go again. Eagles-Cowboys in Week 17 with the division on the line. Although something tells me that this time all it will do is set up the location of the grudge match that will happen a week after that.
It's going to be interesting for sure.
The Eagles-Cowboys game earlier this year was on Sunday night, IIRC. I think you can't have it so both divisional games are like that.
*sigh*
Well done, Bears! Now the NFC playoff picture is much more interesting:
Eagles win, eagles #2 seed.
Eagles lose, Vikings win, vikings #2 seed.
Eagles lose, vikings lose, cardinals win, cardinals #2 seed.
Verrry interesting for next week.
Picture this, if you will:
For Week 17, the Eagles beat the Cowboys, the Cardinals beat the Packers, and the Vikings lose. So that makes the seedings as follows:
1. Saints
2. Eagles
3. Cardinals
4. Vikings
5. Packers
6. Cowboys
...making the wild card matchups Cardinals/Cowboys, and, in the most highly-anticipated wild card game of all time, Favre-Green Bay III. Let's further assume that Dallas beats the Cardinals. In the second round, let's say the Eagles take care of business against their NFC North opponent and Dallas upsets the Saints (again), making the NFC Championship game Eagles-Cowboys III in Philly.
I know it's unlikely, but you have to admit, those would be some pretty compelling playoff scenarios.
Dang it, I wanted to stay up and watch that Bears vs Vikings game. Two glasses of brandy and the sandman snuck up on me, probably during one of those interminably long commercial breaks.:shame:
Picks are going to be extra tough this week. Teams that have clinched will play it like a pre-season game and rest the starters. However, Indy could probably field volunteers from their fans and still kick Buffalo's tail.
The Pool Host League is going down to the wire too. Good luck, gentlemen!
There really needs to be a choking smiley here.
See you next week, I guess. :wall:
How 'Bout Them Cowboys
Who is that man on the sidelines, and what has he done with Wade Phillips? :inquisitive:
Two repeat games coming up, Philly at Dallas, Jets at Cincy. Rare. Any bets that Cincy played plain vanilla to keep the Jets guessing for next week?
Haha, talk about rope-a-dope. Kudos to the coaching staff for having the guts to pull it off. Tremendous acting job by all involved.
Went to the packers/cardinals game today....if you could even call it a game. Seriously, most boring sporting event I've attended in a while. First half was total domination then the second half nothing at all happened until the end.
I'm afraid of playing Philly again :eeeek:
Ah well. The Steelers fail miserably.
Hearty congratulations to the Bengals though. Let's hope they do the AFC North proud and go all the way.
Losing to perennial doormats KC, OAK, CLE took control of their playoff destiny out of their own hands. They're probably the best talented team not to make the playoffs this year.
Biggest surprise of the season: without a doubt the Bengals.
Biggest disappointment of the season: the NY Giants.
Don't forget the playoff picks...
Wow, Philly was terrible. :dizzy2:

We really really need a passing game. At least someone who is a threat to go deep, and a tight end who can catch.
Pats fan here.
I was rooting for both of those teams that just lost, because if it isn't my team I like to root for the underdogs. Needless to say, I had a lousy night. That second game was not even entertaining to watch.
Ugh. :wall:
