Voting someone, then killing them is not too obvious a connection?
I'll be fine with khaan's lynch, but I think I'd like to hear more from Vote: Cuthillius first. Or Choxorn.

Consider the following assumptions/statements/whatevers:

Al Sips is a lot quieter than he was last game, but that might just be because this isn't his home forum and he hasn't checked it as much.
Gut feeling on Golden being scum, can't back that up with remotely anything though.

I think he picked up on Kennigit's oddly strong accusation of me the previous phase and tried to get him lynched, picking up some cred along the way. He wouldn't push it too hard because then he'd be falling into the same trap but Kennigit did, but it was a good case in an ultimately bad round and hopefully, per him, people would pick up on it.
However, it got no traction and khaan, trusting his instincts, still had him killed at night rather than press the case. This is what twigged me. Scum khaan puts it out there, see if anyone bites, and then takes care of the problem himself. Townie khaan gets a lot more bullheaded and would have pushed the case for the next few rounds regardless of what else was going on.
To make it perfectly plain this case is little more than a personality read but I'm quite confident that it's an accurate one.
Dang. That makes complete sense. If I was someone that wasn't me, I'd probably be all aboard that train of thought. Unfortunate. It *is* fairly accurate.
Only real defense I have for not pushing ken's lynch harder was that literally nobody even responded to my post or even acknowledged its existence, and it was fairly late into the phase so I shrugged it off and figured I'd take another run at it the next day.

GH could be mafia who kennigits team tried to convert hence the strong push and GH saw it and is trying to frame khaan
I don't think so. Too bold of a move this early, I think, given the game has reveals.

Re: Mafia v. Cult [In Play]
I like GH's arguments against Khaan. Also, his defense is nonexisting and when analyzing his recent comment, it is easy to go into endless WIFOM
vote: Khaan

Wish I had a good defense, but GH's reasoning is very correct. He's wrong, of course, but this is probably the least mad I can be about being lynched because the setup was very nicely executed.
Vote: Askthepizzaguy
Because I don't think GH would bother framing me this early. The kennegit kill feels like it has Pizza smeared on it to me. I'll explain my conspiracy theory in proper when I've had some time to snooze on it.

This made me giggle.
Vote: Khaan
Reason: All who vote him (her?) can't be scum, so there must be something there.

Re: Mafia v. Cult [In Play]
Anyway, Raith, I see you joined here for this game as well? Might as well target the obvious competition first, it's a fair tactic :3
Vote: Raith Kemmler

Re: Mafia v. Cult [In Play]
ATPG, I am gonna spite vote you if you don't drop the schtick. If you don't wanna do anything thats fine, but I am tired of reading stuff people said from other games.
In other news, thanks to our glorious mod overlord, me and Al Sipsclar are basically cleared town.
So yeah, my participation in this game is gonna rapidly dwindle because I am gonna get shot by the mafia tonight or tomorrow because we are now both prime conversion targets.

That's a lazy vote if I ever saw one. He has also been active today so I don't know what your plan is here Zain.

The mod can confirm you upon your flip imo

Re: Mafia v. Cult [In Play]
I need about 4 more votes on Visorslash today.
He flips town, lynch me tomorrow.

You might not be maf, but you could still be cult.
-
Re: Mafia v. Cult [In Play]
If you lynch me first, I'll die on the town team. If you're not sure about Visor, kill me first so I win with town.

There are zero dead mafia so far. Unless the mafia team is exactly Visor and Al, neither one is clear, and ya, either could be cult.
Good news: pizza is and always has been town. And always will be, fingers crossed.

Or we could just lynch khaan and postpone the 8726585285978624th iteration of this particular gambit of yours... :juggle2:
-
Re: Mafia v. Cult [In Play]
Lynch Khaan, then Visor is acceptable.

Sure, if you really believe that.

Re: Mafia v. Cult [In Play]
This one's not a gambit, btw.
a) I don't care about cult games.
b) Visor just claimed not townie
In my one meaningful act this game, I want Visor's guilty ass.

I said "could", not "likely to be", assuming the cult's been doing silent recruitment so far. I don't see why you're pushing this so hard.

Re: Mafia v. Cult [In Play]
Because he's guilty.
Wasn't caught by the mod, but trying to play it off like it proves he's innocent.
Nailed to a cross.

How am I pushing it hard? I just think its extremely unlikely for me to cult.
(If I was a cultist I would recruit attempt to recruit ATPG because we have never been wolves together in a long game fwiw).

Re: Mafia v. Cult [In Play]
Disagree all you want, guilty boy.
You utterly wrecked yourself, never not lynching you this game.
PS Die.
