Water buffalo have horns. And I think this unit will be more of a slow 'katank' unit than a lancer unit.

Remember these aren't just any water buffalo, these are demonic water buffalo commonly found on the river styx (latin name: Scarious Demonicus Buffalous). So basically these buffalo can be anything from meat tanks to heavy chargers it's up to hoggy to decide. Personally i think the image fits the demons pretty well, and i think the demons are more suited to have slow but extremely well armed and armoured generals than regular generals or light generals (like pontis generals in R:TW).

Amazing job as always hoggy. I thought the concept art for the demon general was brilliant, and your realization of it that art is simply amazing. Honestly i'll be surprised if you don't get dozens of job offers from the computer game industry after this mod.

I see youve made the chinese banner. It looks good. Youve also reskinned the units for the other chinese clan or at least started to. They look good. Although the yellow shirt and the blue pants looks a bit odd.
Wait a minute. He's not holding a fan. I for one think he should. I think all of the generals should be holding a fan. The japanese and chinese generals already do.
I just wanted to add my congratulations Hoggy. I've been following this mod from almost the start (that I know of on .ORG) and I absolutely love it. I am actually looking forward to this more than I am for EB and I have supported EB the whole time. The units are amazing and since I never played Shogun (but have wanted to) I am very excited for the Asian game. Plus actually having Demons AND Indians is awesome. I just hope I'm not too busy with EB to play this...unless of course this is out first.

That is quite amazing. I only think that you should have a bigger platform on top with 4-6 Kappa Archers. Why would you have these huge dragons and only put one archer on top? Itd be like putting a single archer on top of an oliphant in lotr. And there should be much fewer dragons per unit. Maybe like 3 at the most.
I really cant believe you pull these things off. You are rather amazing hoggy.
Wonderful as usual. Just a little criticism, i think the dragon's necks are not thick enough and their front legs seem rather odd, espcially at the knee. Like i said, minor things really, otherwise fantastic as always.
This has to be the coolest looking mod for RTW...possibly for any game :)
I agree with shifty157 & DragoonXXIV that maybe the dragons should be a bit bigger and have 3 archers or so.

Singing praise is really not enough. You are making an amazing mod, perhaps the most creative and unique in the entire RTW community.
shifty - The archer in the cage will be a single powerful archer in gold. I hope the unit will be pretty deadly as it is but we'll try it out. Going to try to have as few as possible. they will be quite rare but I'm hoping to do a unit of a different colour dragon that will act as a mercenary unit near the demonlands. The dragons (and a lot of the demons) aren't naturally evil in BL they have been summoned and turned.
Dragoon - The dragon is using the elephant anim at the moment so some knee bending will look strange although it actually works a lot better than I'd expected.
Myrddraal- yep I'm a professional modeler. I started modding in my spare time as the game I was working on was football management and it required very little in the way of creativity. Modding your own game also avoids all the restrictions that normally come from the zombie marketing dept ~:) (in fact i may do a unit of them...). Got made redundant last December (british games industry imploding in the north) and sent my cv to CA but not a peep from them. I now commute 3 hours a day to work which limits my time for unit building but taking on blindfaithnogod and Sykotik Rampage to Blue Lotus has more than made up for the time loss. They've been doing an amazing amount of work, a lot of which is less screenshottable than mine but I wouldn't have been able to continue the mod without their help. :bow: Sorry, started rambling.
MetalSlug - Its a Gforce 5 and I normally have the settings somewhere around medium to high with lower detail on environment.
