"Those who live by the sword die by the sword" Zomenes got what was coming to him. A beautiful ending to a wonderful AAR. I can't wait to see your Lusitan AAR.

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo its over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but still, that was a gripping chapter!
very nice AAR!
im going to miss this one......
This was a good ending of the story ...
Liked it ..
But still it's sad that it's over ... ~:(
Incredible!! A dramatic ending to a dramatic legacy.
I am truly looknig forward to your next AAR, wether it is Lusotannan, Koinon Hellenon or any other faction.
Wonderful ending Chirurgeon, as sad as I am to see the end of this AAR I am really looking forward to your next one. You have high standards to maintain.
Damn ,why is there no clap smilie on this forum? I need them right now! Ah well, guess I have to do it old school style:laugh4:
Amazing last chapter, and a great epilogue. A worthy ending for this magnificant AAR, and a suitable end for the Ptolemaic dynasty, ending on an altar, inmidst their own... remainders. You were right, the ending really... pleased me. Damn, why isn't there a "diabolic laughter" smilie?
I remember there was a guy who turned your Carthage AAR into a PDF-data. Could you perhaps ask him to do that for every of your AARs and then make them available for download? Would be truly great!
Edit: Thanks overweightninja :beam:
:applause:
'Nuf said.
Oh and btw
:applause:
There's one from Basileus too :beam:
Nice work! I'm half-tempted to do an AAR myself, one of these days...
I knew you would like it :) :egypt: I tried to download the Sands of Africa AAR that was made into a pdf but I could not unzip it for some reason. I wouldn't mind having that either.Quote:

I need to make sure that in order to make sure a particular family continues breeding to kill off some of the "lesser" generals. I didnt know that the game engine limited births and such if you already had so many family members. Makes sense though.Quote:

Amazing... your AARS are the best ive read since i read diary of a king on the total war forums - scratch that its even better than that one
(edit: sorry i got the name wrong it was The Kings Diary By Dave P)
So it ends...
Sorry to see it go, but good job. :applause:
I voted Lusotanna on your poll. I kind-of dislike the KH...
And so ends the third epic AAR of Chirurgeon. This AAR was great, just as good as the Puniceus Paludamentum and the Sands of Africa, even though there were no videos! And your writing is only getting better. I can't wait for the Lusotannan/KH (at this point, probably not KH) AAR!
:2thumbsup: ------> :idea2: -------> :balloon3: :balloon3: :balloon3:
I am planning on incorporating videos again. It shows some really nitty gritty fighting. Thank you for the kind words and I do feel like my writing is getting easier as I go. It used to be really hard to write up stuff but for whatever reason it flows so much easier now. Plus I am motivated by all of you that continue to inspire me!Quote:

They should invent the Nobel prize for AAR's just for you.
Congratulations and I can barely wait to see the next one.
Those last 2 chapters were mind boggling. I completely did not see those coming!
In a time when all stories have to have happy endings, I am glad you chose to make yours like this. It just make sit seem more real.
Again, amazing job!
Tragedy has an intimate relationship with history it would seem. Glad you enjoyed itQuote:

Thank you Frodge I appreciate your support. I am glad you enjoyed it. I hope the next one is just as good.Quote:

One curiosity question, though. Did you roleplay Zomene's traits, or did you just make his treachery up. Not that it matters, it was still incredible, but I would be fascinated to know if he was Disloyal, had the Venal trait, etc. Good going, Chirurgeon.
BTW, when you decide to publish a novel, let us know. I'm working on one of my own.
