Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
deguerra was a third party the first time he subbed. Since he's been the guy making the moves for Wales these past two turns, it might provide some consistency in absence of instruction from Roadkill for him to sub again.
I could probably find another person, if need be, but we should decide quickly if we can.

Nothing personal deguerra...

Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
no worries phonicsmonkey, I too would prefer if we had an outside sub, but just wanted to keep things moving. Zim, just ask barcamartin or someone. But please make them do it before Sunday :whip: :beam:

Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
With directions as to what to do or the diplomatic situation of the Wales (?) faction, I could do it Friday evening... if you're still lokking for a sub...

Well, let me see, Wales was just about to launch a surprise attack on England, and on Ireland, and ... on Scottland :idea2:
:laugh4: :laugh4: :clown:
As far as I can see he is turtling, just teching up, which is quite reasonable with Wales.

Well, thanks, though trust me it takes some effort to keep my humour in the light of the events. ~;)

Unfortunately, I am nowhere near of kicking anyones butt ... beating up a few careless general with ill supplied troops is not exactly butt kicking ... ~;p though ofc it sounds great in the council thread. :clown:

Needless to say this is what i am waiting for!!! I wonder when will the interested parties realise that they have to gang up on the strongest economic power in order to win and not on the weakest!

Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
three main things:
1. Norway still started this war. If Norway wants to end it, let's hear its offer.
2. I cannot feasably turn south if my north is roaming with untrustworthy barbarians.
3. IC reasons. Alexander will not easily turn on England. Should William Wallace ever arrive, well, then things may be different.
:2thumbsup:

Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
Sorry, blame school. Deguerra should be my full-time sub. :laugh4:
Anyways, School is screwing me over, I hardly have enough time to even come on the forum, or play MTW2. AND TO MY LUCK!!! I made the basketball, volleyball, and football team. Don't worry though. Give me a week or two and it'll be back to normal.
So deguerra if I seem inactive don't even wait, just sub for me.
PS: I hope your a good MTW2 player.....

Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread

I have already made my offer. Which is a 50%-50% split of the original rebel settlements. I also made it clear both to you and to the previous scottish player that I have no claims on the mainland (other then what I already have, i.e. Wick).
The war started because the previous scottish player made heavily one sided claims, i.e. he claimed all the rebel settlements for himself, and showed no will to compromise.

I have never backstabbed anyone neither in this or in any other game. When I started the war I made a public announcement in the council, it was no surprise to anyone.

Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
The last Scottish player claimed every nearby rebel settlement with 50% or more Scottish culture, that being just about all of them. :clown: I wouldn't say Cheetah started the war, more that he was backed into a very unpleasant corner. In those circumstances I would have attacked as well.
We've all been pretty open about starting wars in this game.

Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
All right. I have attempted preliminary peace talks with the Norse. Can England and Ireland PM me their IC thoughts on such matters?
-
Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
Glad to hear you're still in, Roadkill. After this turn I'll probably ask Tristan or another player outside of this game to sub for you. With so few players, it could cause problems having someone in the game deciding what troops you hire and where they go. :sweatdrop:
I'll let you know if I find a sub and you can send him directions in case you miss any more turns these next two weeks.
-
Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
after some PMing and remembering troubles regarding the Welsh password, I finally remember. Roadkill, that is just cruel :beam:
Anyway, Norway is up:

Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
Hey guys. Just to remind you I'll be gone for the next three weeks. Zim is taking over the first week and barcamartin from then on, so Roadkill be sure to let them know when its their turns.
Otherwise best of luck guys its been a pleasure playing with you and I hope you won't have destroyed me when I get back ~;)

Sorry for the delay, I will upload it today.

Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
I guess I'll see about getting a sub to play tomorrow. Probably internet trouble or something.
-
Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
I will sub for him!
:laugh4:
-
Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
You could sub for him for the Grand Campaign game.
-
Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
good point
I won't have a chance tonight as I'm going to the cricket, but I'll drop in tomorrow some time and see if you still need somebody - pm me the password in the meantime so I can crack on with it if you're offline
vanilla 1.3 I presume? think I still have that dusty old icon somewhere...
go ahead without me if you find somebody else first, of course
-
Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
I'll see if one of his allies in the game wants to first. Although I think it would be better for a player that isn't in that game to sub for him, he might object to one of his mortal enemies in this game doing his turn in another. :clown:
-
Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
I think he'd have to assume I'm a very vindictive person to have any problem with that...but I take your point
-
Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
If I can't get in touch with them before I go to bed tonight (about 4-6 hours) I'll pm you the password. I wish I could pm instructions, but other than going after rebel settlements I don't know much. :sweatdrop:

Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
I subbed for Cheetah (he is in a tough spot...)
Here is the save for England :

Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
I aplogize from everyone for the delay. I did my turn yesterday but forgot to upload it, I had a busy day ...:sweatdrop:
Here is me version if Zim would prefer it:

ps. I probably overwrote Tristan's version anyway ...:sweatdrop:

Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
Cheetah,
Make some space in your inbox, I have news for you...
-
Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
Ok, I'll take Cheetah's save, then.
Tristan, I'm sorry I wasted your time..
-
Re: Britannia Hotseat Campaign:OOC thread
The uploaded save is mine from what I gathered...
Seeing how I beat he crap out of some Scot and English fleets plus took some Scot land, I know why you would prefer to play from Cheetah's save...:clown:
