Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Broken ribs really hurt. lol
I got one broke, and two bruised, and a contused muscle. :)
For all the things Germans can build, they can't build a sleep-able pillow.
And why do all German men between 15-25+ have the exact same terrible haircut? It's like I've been put into some bizarre 80's time capsule. Whoever decided to combine a high fade with a coif and get it fashionable was a joker for sure, and credit to him for giving me so much to snicker at!
I tried brown cheese today, a Norwegian delicacy. Why isn't this everywhere?
This would be so easy to do with sigma notation, but I don't remember sigma notation and I'm too lazy to look it up.
:mean:
Must... worship... Marx...
In all seriousness though, I'm meeting HT in about 2 weeks!
I am going to flip out on my roommate tomorrow since he seems to be happy being absolutely oblivious to everything he does.
Leaves banana peel in room for 4 days and lets flies and **** fester in the room while I am away.
Has not paid rent yet (was due a few hours ago), and he was late and gave our apartment penalties TWICE already.
Uses other peoples dishes and cups, leaves them in his room with half eaten food and crumbs left on them, then has the gall to say that because he likes to disappear until midnight every night that he should not have to pitch in with the chores.
Plays LoL until 2am in the morning, spamming his mouse button when I am trying to sleep right ******* now.
Half assed jobs on the things he does do, like clean the bathroom we share. Although how can you even try to pass off that you got rid of the soap scum build up in the tub when it is still very visible right in front of my eyes.
I swear I am going to yell. And I haven't yelled at someone in person in over....3-4 years. The worst part is that not only did the other apt. mate tell him when he got back that rent was due tonight, but his job on sunday with cleaning the bathroom involved washing the floor mats. He takes them out of the room and puts them in a pile in the hallway and there they have remained, since the 27th. He walks by it every. single. day.
Wow, I am so mad right now.
Throw the trash in his bed
That is exactly what I did. Now I am just waiting when he is getting home.
The whole roommate and campus thing is odd imho, I wouldn't want to share a room, and I want to go where and when it pleases me
Over here it is shared kitchen and bathroom, but the bedrooms were all isolated with locks and such.
Same here, often a shared living-room/shower/kitchen. No campus, living-space is all private-owned.
Are you crazy if you actually want to live in Detroit. That city fascinates me with the past art-deco glory and urban decay, it's like Rapture.
I guess the ambulances are kinda busy heh, in the first week my brother moved there there were two homicides, several stabbings, and he got mugged. That was just in his street lol
It feels like the Americans occupied Florence after WWII and never left.
Television does not necessarially make for good company. Especially when you can no longer pay attention to what you are watching. I have decided to allow myself to be consumed by memory and see if my bruises heal.
Apparently some people don't like knee-length shorts.
I have found that a brief application of depression as a salve has mended my wounds. Now, I just tap they keys to pleasant listenings and it seems to do the trick. :)
Never underestimate the power of darker moods. :D
Why is it that manual labour can be so much more rewarding than sitting a desk.
Replaced a few broken tiles at the house lately. The work was delicate and more difficult than I thought, since you need to be careful not to break more tiles when removing the ones that needs to be replaced, but it's so rewarding once the work is done. You immediately see the result and you know that you'll enjoy it for more many years to come.
It's always interesting to have a dream that references events of other dreams from years ago.
Concerning dreams, what else is interesting is when a familiarity in a dream can not be remembered in sleep or while awake. It is merely familiar for it's own sake I assume.
Can the subconcious produce a sensation of familiarity for it's own sake and/or for the plot of the dream or is it something that our mind is truly familiar with.
If fact was it in dream or in life? If falsehood, is it manufactured or borrowed from an event or dream that it closely remembered or shares no similarity with.
One may ask: De ja vu? The immortality of my soul? (If one has one of course).
Wouldn't it be wild if the familiarity in dreams was the result of something existing along another stream of time or a prediction or rememberance of said alternate time stream?
I sometimes cook up peop,e I am pretty sure of I never met, locations I have never been. Brains are weird. Reoccuring, a house my mother bought me (thanks mom), cool place, has a swimmingpool and a hall with broken/overgrown greek statues. Sometimes a T-rex shows up. T-rexes are jerks.
A multiverse would be interesting. Multiple streams of time and/or dimensions and/or occupants that could be similar or disimilar to ourselves. The universe would need boundries. I find it hard to beleive that the universe is infinate. I just can't comprehend nothing but empty distance. It may be vast, but I would assume that there is a perhaps a flat part of the universe that you could techically fall off it technology had the capacities to take you there.
Time could be a vast all encompasing mass that we occupy or it could be perhaps thread like that occupies multiple universes or even encompasing all the multiverse together. Then, you get into more boundries at even more vast distances that are incomprehensible.
Also, is there a function to time other than keeping track of those who are aware of it or does it do more? We age, but that could just be biological breakdown that happens over time. Or is it some celesitial free radical of sorts that ages things. Time is measured most commonly with merely seeing how things change over time. We are confined on a restrictive orb that posseses dangers and free radicals all of it's own. Times role in this? I don't really know. I do think however, that time is infinate. I know I said that I couldn't comprehend distances as infinate, but time would seem such. I beleive that time can continue in absense of any one or any think being able to track its progress or perhaps some mass like movements.
I am not good at diagnosing dreams. I can't even interpret literature with any degree of effectivness. The brain during sleeps is very apt at formulating locations, people, plots with endless variety. I have been told dreams are similar to hallucinating like a schizophrenic or such would hallucinate while awake. I always seem to take a third person view of my dreams. I act and such, but that character that is me performs all the actions and I am just a passive observer. Although, if the dream is to illicit moods, I feel them. I forget most of my dreams. Something I encounter or see might bring back a piece of the dream, but that is about it.
I am starting to ramble though. I am no physics or math guru, but I do find this topic interesting.
My new fetish is the Bunad (Norwegian traditional clothing). So very attractive.
You know what else is great about Norway? Its traditional music.

Can people please pay better attention to their kids. A road, don't suddenly run run there. Or better, make sure that your children don't suddenly run onto it. I am 80 kilo's moving at 25km/h, that hits HARD. If you think that I was wrong I agree, I should have taken into consideration that kids will just run up the street. I am the only one who got hurt as I had to break really hard and fell flat on my face. I forgive you mom in question, but can you PLEASE keep a better eye on your hatchlings. This is the second time in just two weeks that such a thing happens. They just suddenly run on the street without any consideration that an impact could kill them.
I make love to the past, my present is boring but at least it is brief and the future has yet to happen.
Fss I hate flies so much. Get off me. What the hell are you mindlessly zooming around for. It are questions that need to be asked, why not total genocide on flies.
Do the depths of a forest carry an aura? Or is it all in the mind of those who pass through it?
Wish I could write at the end of my essay, "I sincerely apologize for making you read this garbage." Honestly, it annoys me that I am forced to take an extra class which they know I won't have enough time for because if I had the time I would be able to properly read all the material and spend more than a day on writing the essay.
awesome, I got the collected tales of Edgar Allen Poe, I think it's a first print, but I will need someone else to take a look at it. It does have a page where it says it was reprinted in 1920 but someone is fooling me the paper is different. This is the first edition I am no idiot. Don't try to trick me I can tell when you are.

Also really sinister ones, I can post more, it's really awesome stuff.
Reread Times Arrow, awesome. Was fun because it's full of notes because it was a school project. I can exactly see where it starts to make sense to me. If you haven't read do. I am not going to spoil anything, you just have to figure things yourself. Don't read the cover or reviews, it's much better if you suddenly get it. it's eally wtf??? untill you get the twist, and it hits you pretty hard. Pretty unique book.
To make you feel better, conratulations it's an idiot! https://i989.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3ff827b8.jpg that is going to be lovely. There is a downside to bare-knuckled.
Edit, hmmmm photo sucks. This is going to take while, job well done
Watched two of the rabbits Ive been caring for these past 3 weeks get slaughtered today. I really shouldnt have watched...
:shame:
Almost died today. Was carpooling for a trip to a brewery, a trip I have been anticipating for over a year now, the driver showed up 20 minutes late, did not anticipate traffic when leaving (SoCal has no traffic right?) and was constantly texting while driving. Twice on the way over his head was staring downwards to the point where we yelled at him to slow down because we were about to crash and twice he had to swerve onto the emergency lane next to the center divider in order to avoid crashing. Ended up arriving too late and I didn't get my tour. Everyone else was happy because we still got to sample some beer and get a complimentary small glass, but I actually wanted to learn how a brewery operates.
It didn't help that he was also blasting generic pop electronic/rave music so loud you couldn't hear anybody or anything else. Scary how some drivers think it is ok to be operating a vehicle 60 miles per hour while both blind (texting) and deaf (loud music).
Edit, no you don't post that
Went to give a couple of pounds to a nun with a charity box today, and a Muslim girl came and gave something as well, and the nun said "bless you" to both of us.
Amidst all the controversy between Catholics and Protestants and Muslims that we normally worry about, I thought that that was a nice moment.
I had whale for dinner today. It tastes like beef. Nothing that special but I'm pretty sure I'm now on some PETA list.
Our hockeybabes won the world championship, awesome. They aren't just good, they are also pretty.
I don't know whether it's his editing style, but everything Morgan Spurlock does radiates a message that Americans are more united in opinion than the politicians and media portray. I eat that **** up.
I thought I would challenge mother nature yesterday and take a nice long hike through the woods. I never met so many biting bugs in my life who apparently love the scent of deep woods off. I think I will stick to the roads for now. Come fall though, I reenter.
Face it. Earth hates you.
Earth is trying to kill us
Mother Nature is a fickle being. It would seem when considering the weather we are often too hot or too cold. A truly comfortable temperature is such a small window it would seem. I don't know if she is trying to kill me, but my little challenge was given a higher heat and high humidity. Both of which I enjoy walking thru. Hence, I went. But the bugs! They were voracious and insanely aggressive. I carried on briefly, but they were everywhere! Flying around me, bouncing off my head, biting my back and the back of my neck. They weren't mosquitos either, they were those deer fly/horse fly variety.
The paved road that runs down the heart of the park will suffice. The bugs aren't as aggressive there, so that is what I will walk. I will miss the aggressive trails in the woods but I am forced to bow to mother nature for now and stick to the access road.

Got this from a friend, why haven't I ever heard of this lady before?
This is so unlikely.
Was sitting outside, Had a nice random chat with an obviously very conservative and political muslim. We naturally didn't agree on things but I enjoyed the conversation. I did it, I made him have a glass of red wine, with vaya con dios on the background.
Wow... okay, I wasn't sure if I was ever going to tell anyone about this, but it's late and I'm sleep deprived so i guess I'll just write it now and regret it in the morning Sad
First of all, - just for some background: My mom died right when I was born, (she was actually really, really hot- but this isn't about her. I guess that's ****** up to say, but whatever.) I actually grew up with my dad's family, because my dad has all sorts of emotional issues and he bailed before I was born. So you can see, my childhood was really kind of messed up.
Anyways, growing up I feel like there was always a lot of distance between me and my sister. When I was about 17 or 18 I first noticed that my sister was a hottie.
I don't want to go into to many details about it, but basically what happened is that I accidentally found a video that she made of herself. I knew she didn't make it for me- but I thought she was so ******* beautiful that I watched it twice. I probably would have watched it a hell of a lot more, except that like right around the time I found the video, all this crazy **** went down and I had to leave home. (My dad's family who I was staying with got in bad trouble with the law. I never talk about it).
Sooo... I was totally lusting after my sister at that point. She was also having bad trouble with the law. She was actually in custody when I left home.
My friend and I went to go pick her up. When I saw her that day, after seeing the video, I have to be honest, I just wanted to **** her brains out. Looking back on it now, it's pretty messed up- but I think she had feelings for me too. She actually kissed me right after we came to get her... and it wasn't a sisterly kiss, you know? I mean, it wasn't like ridiculously sexual or anything, but it definitely wasn't sisterly.
After we left, we all went to crash with my Sister's friends. On the trip there, my friend sort of implied that he wanted to get with my Sister, and I got a little jealous. He's a good looking guy- and even though she was my sister- I just felt like he was competition. Not much else happened between us for a while except some maybe-sexy hugging.
Pretty much everyone in my life at that point was wanted by the government, so we all moved around a lot. I'm not saying that I'm proud of it or anything, but it was kind of an awesome time.
My friend and my sister never hooked up I don't think- but I thought there was some serious sexual tension going on between them. It was around that time that I got really badly hurt in an accident. It was ****** up. I almost died. But when I was in recovery my sister came to see me, and out of the clear blue sky she started gives me this awesome, slow, passionate kiss on the lips.
Sadly (although, I guess for the best) nothing ever came of it. We spent some time apart... and I started to get really religious, so I tried not to think of her that way. It was actually going well for a long time- like I was totally over her. But I have to say, like a year or so after all that stuff went down, we were out sailing (not like a date or anything romantic like that), and she was wearing like the hottest bikini I've ever ******* seen and it brought back all the old feelings. Sigh.
A little while later she actually wound up with my friend from before (the sexual tension guy). I can't say I was surprised.
But even after she was shacking up with my friend, there was one time we were at a party... my friend was inside, and my sister and I were outside alone. It was a really intimate moment. I think something might have happened, except that I killed the mood when I told her that Darth Vader was our father and that I had to go face him.

I introduced a young Persian woman to waffles by taking her to Roscoe's. She liked them, and now has become full MERICAN.
Kewl, daughter of my mate is going to the world-championship kickboxing in Italy. If she wasn't so shy and softspoken you wouldn't expect that she's a beast in the ring, she's 10 but she would probably kick my butt. She has a good chance in her class she's really good. Had a nice barbecue with her coach yesterday, meat wine and jazz and a dispute of why Nero and Caligula were misunderstood, comming up, carnage.
My mates daughter in action :) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3p4JuxJFIkI still some work to do but she will be awesome in a few years, now she is just 10, she lost this one but not for lack of trying
Kittens. Two. After Nero passed away like an absolute boss (just crawled behind my chair, two breaths and adieu) after 22 years it was time for kittens. I am still absolutily heartbroken about Nero not being here anymore but I gave him a nice place in my mom's garden with an inca statue watching over him, a sanctuary never to be touched by the garden crew. My maid is going to be so happy with me because I got two new housebosses, lappie and Gappie. She doesn't really likes cats but she has grown attached to Nero. Got a surprise for you tomorrow babe, two crack-kittens, enjoy
It is monday. What a nice day. Fresh new start of the week :)

Today is the 100th anniversary of WW1 beginning.
My kittens disregard my existance. Wearing short pants, better don't, they will climb into me anyway. These nails are SHARP. I'll spare you a pic of the state my legs are in right now. Cue, swollen and bloody
Thats when you ditch the cats and get a real pet.

If US Patents were treated like US Copyright, the Haber Process would have entered the public domain in 2004. Think of everyone you know, family, friends, coworkers and pick off 65% of them because the Haber Process is responsible for most of the food generated in the world. Half of the nitrogen in your body (especially your DNA) is there because of a chemical plant fixing atmospheric nitrogen into ammonia for use as chemical fertilizer.
This is obviously something someone whipped up in their workshop, but I think it does look rather good/impressive.
