Re: Capo di Tutti Capi IV [In Play]
Anyway people, let's get votes piled on Cahoma and some more selections on Sturmhauke. We shouldn't take the risk on pizza having lawyer protection again.
With a lynch today and vigs tonight, and perhaps a double lynch tomorrow with a townie director to oversee it, we can get through the list of the confessed pretty quickly. It'll still be touch and go but the mafia fight that will soon break out will only help us.

That's why.

Most of the mafia will keep out of the thread rather than show themselves.
Bah. If they're not directly affiliated with "the" townie network, then they're suspected of being mafia anyway.
They're not fooling anyone. Besides, it's a whole heck of a lot more fun to be a gangster than pretending to be a townie. Fo sho.

Everyone who has selected you so far has a big fat target on your head, as will anyone else.
Town couldn't hit the ground with a target painted on it in bright red paint.

The time will quickly come when some enterprising family realizes their best move is to strike first, I've seen it before it capo II. Then the selectors will cut down like wheat. Heck, anyone want to guess who landlubbers family will target tonight? They might even get townie wiseguy support to pad their numbers, that also happened in capo II I believe.
Your argument is absurd, and here's why.
Town shouldn't try to vote for the mafia, because the mafia might kill them.
It's the same argument flipped on its head. It makes no sense, especially since the town has been so ineffective at killing or protecting.
If the mafia can lynch the townies and get a director who can make double lynches on townies happen, then....
That's removing mafia from the lynch queue and putting the untouchable townies on the chopping block. And every single gangster wants that to happen.
Quote:
You are very welcome to waste three mades on protection duty, and equally welcome to take doctors away from protecting you and put them on mafia targets. Can't protect em all :beam:
But I can protect some. And I've proven that throughout the game, some protection is infinitely superior than none.
You're acting as though if the mafia remain quiet, the townies will never suspect they are there. The town knows exactly who the mafia are, by simple deduction.
You're charismatic and experienced, my friend, but you're arguing a losing position.

Re: Capo di Tutti Capi IV [In Play]
One final thought before I run to work for my first ever closing the store by myself manager shift.
The mafia were too busy recruiting and killing to even come up with pro-town alibis. Very few gangsters can explain what they've been doing for the past 8 nights. The real townies at least have some explanation.
That's why the mafia should endorse me as Director; you're already exposed because you have no cover story. You forgot to make one. I could have provided you one but only two people ever bothered to ask.
You'd have to say which groups you were in and they'd have to confirm it and you'd probably need to be visible in the writeups as well for it to be believable. And we already know which vig kills I endorsed, and those have mafia in them.
You have to be very creative to explain 8 nights without a detailed cover story that could have been provided. Some have, but it's really no longer necessary is it?

Re: Capo di Tutti Capi IV [In Play]
Mafia Wiseguys: This is your chance.
Maybe some of you already were double agents the whole time - you know what to do.
But the rest of you, those who have planned to turn for a while, those who have already killed townies:
| .... |
|_ __|
Hold on for one second. Are you sure that this is what you want? Is this really, really, what you want?
Think about this for a second. Just one second.
You hold the key here. You have the power to make the Mafia, and break the town (and vice versa).
You could stick with the Mafia. You could finish off the town. Glory over the fallen. Enjoy the festivities.
But then you will turn on each other, like jackals. You will kill and you will die, all for one man's greed: the Capo di Tutti Capi.
You yourselves will never become Capo. Rather, you will be struck down in the hard fighting between families. The vast majority of you.
Perhaps you comfort yourselves with the hope that your family will emerge triumphant, and that you will see your apotheosis as one of the fingers, or even hands, of the Lord of All Mafia.
Fools! Be it that you will be one of the few to emerge unscathed from Fatlington. Even so, you will never amount to anything. You will render faithful service unto your master for all your years - and you will receive his scraps under the table, like all good dogs.
You will never be upped. Forever will you remain a friend of his, rather than a friend of the family. A slave. He will rest upon your backs, and upon your bloody labor, but you will never see its fruits. Forever will you be consigned to servitude and ignominy, and always will you be watched by his other good men. Even one misstep, and all the years of your sweat shall mingle with the blood in the streets.
But if you defect - if you rejoin the Town - your profits shall be enormous. You will be hailed as heroes; monuments shall be erected in your names! You will have joy, and the honor and glory shall reside with you.
Come, wiseguys - look into your deeper souls, and tell me that you can stomach the degredation of Mafia servitude.
This is your chance to shine.

Re: Capo di Tutti Capi IV [In Play]
I support all townie efforts to lynch ATPG hopefully once and for all today. Notice how support for ATPG has slowed to a trickle. Where is your massive support now?:clown:
Mafia, you as well no longer need ATPG. He is only slowing you down and is, and always has been your greatest liability.

Re: Capo di Tutti Capi IV [In Play]
Edit: Whoops. But it's still the time.
Sturmhauke stands against Pizza 8-10.
CB has 9 votes, Pizza 7.
CB will not allow himself to be lynched, Mafia.
Kill this coward who lords over you, and calls himself Master.

So tell me. Sasaki, Frozen In Ice, you two are pro-town right? There's no way you're on this list ATPG gave us of all the mafia-related people? What's your pro-town excuse? I take it you've been participating in lots of townie vig/protection groups?
@For the mafia: Hey, if any mafia family wins you atleast get a close victory. If you try to hide as a townie still and start the mob war a day too soon, then you just give the town a much higher chance of winning.
@For the townies: Sucks for you.:P
Life is a gamble. I've decided to gamble it all right now. If I lose, then it sucks but it wouldn't matter really. If I win, I'm awesome. If I had decided to wuzz out and hide behind the bigger guys, then I'd just not be in it for the fun, which is what it's all about.

I just selected ATPG because I prefer to live.

What are the director role's positive and negative sides?
The Director is immune from night kills but is also unable to do active night actions (attacks or protection) while in office.

Why not? Cahoma has been suspicious for a while, but just there he flat-out admitted to being Mafia.

Re: Capo di Tutti Capi IV [In Play]
Select: Sturmhauke
I'm still a bit sore from the botched murder attempts last Night but at least the food at Mercy is pretty good. I really hope my survival delayed some of the made-making!

And end up trying to get a triple lynch?

Yep, everyone votes for the person following them in the list in the write up.

How about a single-lynch on him?
CB doesn't factor into it, because he wouldn't be lynched even if 72 people voted for him.
-
Re: Capo di Tutti Capi IV [In Play]
I say we put in a couple of votes on the dead people too.

This is false, a Director cannot influence the lynch at all if there is not a tie vote. If Blackadder "wins" a plurality of votes, there's nothing he can do about it.

Re: Capo di Tutti Capi IV [In Play]
Yeah, vote me. Get all your Mafia buddies to vote me as well! :wiseguy:

Well, for starters, I am dead, and I can't say anything more than that until my alligence is revealed by a writeup. But ATPG should die no matter what role I have. Sometimes one must die for the good of many.

And Pizza, with all the support you say you have, why do you keep posting here? Who are you trying to convince? the doomed town? Or the so supportive mafia?

Vote for me.
Do not vote for me.
Hey, I'm running for director too btw.
