Hi, I just recently purchased shogun total war (the first one) via steam which was on sale at 75% off. :D. I am literally a noob here to total war games. good to have found you, I am GreenKiwi and had Shogun Total war on my mind for several years now. It was too hard/complex for me but I hope with frogBeastEggs guide I can get into the game.
Welcome to The Org. Although most of the true masters of the original Shogun are gone, there are still enough of their disciples around to help with any questions you have.
There are a lot of good topics in the STW forum, and plenty more in the Archives to get you started and beyond.

Hello, I'd just like to say hello. I'm new to the Total War series, I have, however purchased all of the games from Steam, and I am now busily watching a number of series featuring various _mods_ and I must say the mods are amazing in their scope and game play alterations, very cool indeed. One of these days I really must play some of the games, but right now I'm enjoying myself enormously by watching various playlists of the modded games Empire and Napoleon so far. I also should mention that I'm 70 years of age, and I really love history ! !
