I opened up the save and at the top it says France's turn. I typed in my password before I noticed the French flag at the top.Quote:

Sorry about alternative site, the PBM uploader will not work for me.
My only concern about all these House Rules that are being suggested is that they are practically impossible to enforce and in many cases infringements whether by accident or design would be impossible to detect or correct.
I used to play Battleground PBEM games regularly as a member of a Napoleonic online wargame group and I have a brilliant set of house rules for that game that ensured the battles were 100% more accurate. But it was impossible to actually play a game by them because sooner or later someone forgot 'that cavalry cannot charge canon that are closely supported by infantry or horse' or that 'infantry must form square when threatened by cavalry' and the whole thing descended into argument and chaos.
The other issue is that to be quite honest I have trouble remembering which player is playing which faction in this game let alone any house rules which apply. Unlike a true PBEM we don't have the option of circulating a rule sheet to everyone and so it just gets buried in this thread somewhere.
Rules are on honor basis. You know when you break them and you should feel ashamed and crawl into a black hole and cry
As for the playerlist, I posted in on page 4 and someone else did again on 7 or 8 (maybe 9). I asked Ignoramus repeatedly to put it in post one and all the other rules should be put there too, but he doesn't seem too keen to do so.
The first post was updated last week with the relevant play list.
The only thing that annoys me is the lack of public diplomacy. That makes the game more exciting, and it also helps keep the game moving along.
Ah OK I didn't see it. wasn't there when I checked 2 weeks ago.
Could you add following:
1.3 patch
Diplomacy posts encouraged
No mods
That should be it in a nutshell.
Oh, and remove the first playtable (the sign up one)
I actually prefer the diplomatic side to be keep secret, as indeed it would be, reminds me of the board game Diplomacy.

The Org's filespace wasn't working for me either. The message was 'please chose (sic) an existing file to upload.'
:egypt:
Yeah. Same thing to me, I'll report it to Tosa.
:bump:
Well, I def. PM'd Ignoramus this time, so I presume it's just a matter of his finding time.
:egypt:
Sorry about the big delay guys, I'll do the save sometime today if I can.
FileCram's not working.
I can confirm the file can't be downloaded from there.
Can you PM Ramses to upload the file on mizus?
I'm going away for today and tomorrow, so the earliest I can do is Monday.
Doh! Had the best of luck with them before. I'll pop it up at the alternate tonight.
edit: Up now. Someone mind testing before Ig. gets back Monday?
