Dang it, I knew this was coming. Getting tired of dying at the beginning of games lately. Good luck town!!
P.S. In this game we can't post anymore when we are dead, can we? :disappointed:

It might not be. It might also not be wise to waste a lynch on a more active innocent.
If he's guilty I want him dead. If he's innocent I want him to participate. Whatever happened to our distrust of lurkers? I really don't want to lose to someone who is not lifting a finger to beat me.
What are you doing friends! Nictel is our dear friend, as an islander, I say we can trust him...and he's just lost his daddy, you heartless bunch! I say we get rid of Jolt, those no-good artists from the outside could very well be infected with that wolf-disease! We must purge the island before it's too late. And gimme the staff, I want to club anyone trying to get an easy kill out of me!
And...hum, what about TheFlax? Shouldn't our priest be at our side in times of need? I've never found him so silent in the past. I urge him to get back among us and to explain those strange sacrifices we've witnessed!
First of all the sword voted to me was STOLEN last night.
Secondly, Diamondeye, first you vote the sword to me than you want to lynch me? This is all very strange behavior.
You vote an item to a absent person, than you steal it and try to lynch them. All in the hope that the person doesn't respond and as such the item can go to someone and no one will ever know where it went.
I think that the traveler's staff belongs in the hands of Frozen in Ice, the Scholar. I think that skooma addict, the fishwife can make good use of the medical supplies.
Sorry, I meant Frozen in Ice.
The child glares with malice at Nictel.
"I never steal anything! The only thing I possess is this puppet, which everyone knows I asked for like a good boy!"
"The accusation against you still stands, Nictel. You have never thrown a vote yet... Put your vote where your words are and you might be a less suitable lynch for the town."
We have now found bodies mutilated in so many different ways that even my head is starting to spin. I would like the staff. In my studies scholars always have a knack for that sort of thing. I also question Nictel's intentions. Let's see you actually accuse someone if you think someone stole the sword.
OOC: I see Autolycus votes the stave to FiI. Doesn't make much sense to insist on him recieving it, then.Autolycus, Frozen In Ice

ATPG for the longbow
Vote: Frozen in Ice. It would be the scholar that is killing people.
I haven't been the most active player for this game, unfortunately, but after a few nudges from the host, I took a look over the last few pages and attempted to get into the game a little more; the renewed interest will last until I die, really.
What evidence is there to suggest this?
There's nothing to worm out of to begin with; the note is utter bovine excrement and you're falling for it, simple as that.Quote:
You secura are jsut trying to worm your way out of this clear message of guilt.

OOC: Secura, I know that that issue really bothers you, but to me your reaction felt as a flinch at being accused. I'm not going to place my vote with you because of it, but you might inspire others to do so. Just a heads-up because I like having you in games - including the larger ones. And if I may; taking the "active" approach is more fun for both yourself and the other players, imho.
Someone's making up utter tripe in an attempt to waste a town lynch and some people are falling for it, so I think my reaction is just; I'm not the type of woman to react to something like that lightly.
Oh, I agree... but being night-killed as a result is not fun, though. :PQuote:
And if I may; taking the "active" approach is more fun for both yourself and the other players, imho.
I know this, but not all people do. I know that you can be indeed very... Concrete. And I think it a merit, in case you doubted that.
I can identify with this, especially in a game where death equals silence.Quote:
Oh, I agree... but being night-killed as a result is not fun, though. :P
"Nightbringer, you are trying too hard to get Secura lynched. I'm starting to think that you yourself left the 'lynch Secura' message. We have no proof, just someone's hunch; that's barely even evidence."
"Well sure, Vote: Secura you seem the most suspicious at the moment. I'm not one to follow every anonymous note that comes around but such an emotional reaction isn't rare among the guilty"
You shall not carve idols for yourselves in the shape of anything in the sky above or on the earth below or in the waters beneath the earth; you shall not bow down before them or worship them. For I, the One, your God, am a jealous God, inflicting punishment for their father's wickedness on the children of those who hate me, down to the third and fourth generation
Midday Update 5
The villagers and the travelers milled on about their days as if the grim threat hanging over them did not exist...
Speaking of which....
"Hey, what the :daisy: is that?!" one of the villagers shouted, pointing at the sky.
The scholar tried to race out of the inn and stopped right at the doorway, unable to believe his eyes. The other villagers crowded behind him.
"What the :daisy: IS that?" the scholar mumbled. "I am looking at it, but I am not quite su-"
"It's a big jellyfish!" the child shouted.
The other villagers wiped their eyes. It was, in fact, a big flying jellyfish.

"What's it doing there?" somebody asked.
"Beats me..."
"..." the jellyfish responded. A spark of electricity jolted between its tentacles.
"Uhh...yeah, let's get inside," someone said.
"Yeah, let's," the others mumbled as they scrambled back inside. By the way, why did the outside world look more blurry then usual?
Yet another note was discovered by the villagers! It read:
Quote:
"Note to self, make anagrams harder. So the clerk doubts my intentions! I am here to save us from those blessed by vile gods! Secura you are either blessed in that way, or you are likely protected in the way the orphan was. Reveal which way it is, it is the only way to save your soul. I am solid proof you are affected by gods in one of these ways, so do not try to deny it. So many questions. So many questions. Are you of the Whispers of the Wave? Are you the one who killed the traveler last night through your mind, through your powers of psionics?! Or are you blessed by the bright gods? Suspecting that it is the former. Show all so that WE may know. Another puzzle for the faithful: qipv zjti wevyw xibsod xffob? "

Nictel: ATPG, Diamondeye
Secura: Romanic, Nightbringer, Nictle;
John: Autolycus
Jolt: Galynea
Frozen in Ice: wideyedwanderer
Longbow:
Atpg: Atpg, Nightbringer, wideyedwanderer
Medicine Cabinet
Skooma- Nightbringer, Autolycus

Romanic: Nightbringer
Galynea: Galynea, wideyedwanderer
Frozen in Ice: autolycus, Frozen in Ice, Diamondeye.
You forgot my vote on Nictel. Rather him than Secura, in my opinion.
Except that it is completely uncharacteristic of how I play as mafia; Pizza and Diamondeye know full well how I cope with pressure or allegations (An Unlikely Pair and Noblesse Oblige being my greatest cases in point), and it is not by losing my head over an anonymous note as I have here.
By the way, you're third on the bandwagon with a fairly weak reason to boot; funny that, considering Pizza's statement to Romanic earlier.
Nobody wants to comment on the BIG FLYING JELLYFISH?
OMG WE'RE DOOMED IT'S A BIG FLYING JELLYFISH! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!

I'm keeping my vote on Secura, still wonder how you can vote a sword on one day and want to lynch me the next..
Vote: Nightbringer seems a tad obsessive about the Secura thing.
Care to share what you know?
"Hmmph... Perhaps your memories are playing tricks on you lass, I have never been a resident here. I am but a weary traveller and I have no more explanation about what is going on here than any of you. I have gleaned precious little information from the idol, namely that it might be dangerous for someone else to hold it and that it is an idol of the "Whispers of the Waves" cult who have unusual and unholy powers."
Yes lynch another innocent. And a mason at that.
"The 'Wisper of the Waves'?" she pondered, staring out into the sea. "It must be them that have killed those people. So many have blamed the clerc for a mysterious note that :daisy: knows who left sitting in the open. I don't recon it be time yet to go off killing another chi...someone else just yet. The boy, he had an angel of death protecting him. *sigh* I only hope there is an guardian angel protecting our priest from the evils that lurk at night."(hint hint) *She then looks at the Innkeeper* "ATPG ain't half bad look'n, maybe his muscly arms can use that thing better then it's previous owner. A fisherwoman knows a lot about fixing up the mens as they return home, battered and bruised from biting off more then they can chew." she said with a slight chuckle. "It would be pretty :daisy: nice to use something other then me own gin to clean them up." she said shaking her head. *With that, she spat on the ground and took a swig of her bottle before gazing upon the most ridiculous thing she's ever seen.* "A :daisy: jellyfish..." *She rang her dinner bell and grabbed her gutting knife and slowly approached the upsurdity, bottle in hand.*
Oh F***. I knew I forgot something.
More notes from an unknown person!
