I like Cute Wolf as a lynch option, I'd at least like to get him to come out of the woodwork and explain his cheap bandwagon vote with no explaination. So, vote:Cute Wolf

In the FAQ:
Active abilities are mostly your standard mafia-type powers like investigation, kill, protect, and so forth. Those are usually reserved for higher-ranked Jedi only, although there are a few low-level abilities given to certain lucky padawans and initiates.
Sometimes a Padawan or Initiate has innate abilities that go beyond their level, in fact most of them begin with an ability that is "ahead of their class" as a bonus. It softens the blow of being an Initiate or Padawan; getting one slightly more advanced power than they should otherwise have.

No, I said that I found it strange he'd be so open about being that loony and that I wanted to discuss if other were also thinking that is loonyness could translate into something dangerous when the game moves on.

Okay, I see and was it often a Sith power?
So is this bandwagon on DE directed at testing the ability or because it is associated with Sith? If the former, why not aim for a tie to have a least a chance of killing DE?
Were the ones that survived the lynch executed some other way or was it necessary to kill them during the night?

Not much reason really, the reality is simply that most if not all lynches at this point are going to be pretty much senseless unless someone really does something silly, and IMO I'd prefer a conclusive voting rather than to just leave it all up to ties and dueling.
I would surmise that we would feel very silly in retrospect if on a hypothetical occasion where the sith was tied with someone during voting and by chance managed to escape alive, conclusive voting is really what matters for me in this early game stage since there is essentially nothing concrete to go on, just suppositions.
Basically I just want a conclusive lynch, not ties which open the possibilities to sith in contention being saved inadvertently or purposefully, and it just so happens that Diamondeye is in the lead, and claiming a lynch survival ability which I'm not sure if it tallies with his claimed rank of Initiate (didn't play Sigurd's game). Moreover, if Diamondeye is telling the truth, then we have nothing to fear if he's a jedi because then he would survive, and we would obtain this particular piece of information, whatever the proceedings reveal.
In any case, the current scenario provides an opportunity for information gathering which IIRC was used pretty successfully to cross-reference facts in the previous Star Wars Game (Sigurd's)

I think he's just having fun Joooray
Besides, its highly entertaining :laugh4:

Padawan actually, not that that is particularly relevant to this game. But I note Joooray's quoting of the rules, and it does seem entirely consistent with DE's behavior that he could be one of those lucky players.
That means I should actually put the rest of his posts together to see if they're worth a vote without that data point; I'll do that in a bit.
unvote while this is pending.

Anyone could get it; I don't remember if the Sith had a greater likelihood or not. They got more powers (more often) in general, of course. It became a bit of a pain toward the end, so I hope it's been limited in this game.

Re: Star Wars: Fall of the Order [in play]
FOS @ D_E - for an initiate he sure knows a lot of force powers
Vote: Rebel Jeb his only post so far is a BW on Jooray.

I know he is having fun, and I find it also highly entertaining. I'm just wondering what kind of role would show up in the write up for mere entertaining purpose, that sounds a bit strange to me.

The fact remains, Andres is claiming a role that is shown in the write-up not killing someone on a night when two other people were killed. Seems like a poor choice for a townie vote, and would serve only to get rid of a higher-priority target for the Sith. Besides, if you're that concerned about someone going anti-town later in the game based on their actions last night, Sasaki should be your vote, not Andres.

I see, I'm just curious because it was said elsewhere that everybody that had (claimed?) that ability, was lynched, so I thought it implied some kind of guilt. Or was there another reasoning for that?

I am Jedi Entertainer Muff'inm 'an slayer.
My abilities are not being able to kill, not having active or passive force powers, not having a lightsaber; but I do appear in the write-ups if I decide to do something.
Allthough the host refused to use my weapon of choice in the write-up: a green banana :bigcry: And he forgot the gigantic golden frie and the flying oiled submarine :brood:
Anyway, give me 5 good reasons for not lynching Diamondeye.

Alright, I give you that he wouldn't be a very good lynch, but my vote was merely to get a discussion about this started. Sure I could have just stated my thoughts, but it seems underlying it with a vote puts more emphasis on it and gets more people to respond. As is proven this time again.
But I guess I achieved what I wanted. So Unvote; Vote:dcmort. I'm sorry buddy, but you were the 3rd on the bandwagon yesterday, blaming random.org doesn't convince me as you stayed with it even after it came apparent that Ras would be a front runner for the lynch.

I don't find the case against him particularly convincing, that's enough reason for me.
Also it seems there are already enough people in favour of this and so I might as well be the person thinking about different targets this time around.

Re: Star Wars: Fall of the Order [in play]
Man, I'm almost ready to follow Andres to the end of the...ship?

That's only 2 reasons and the second one doesn't count, because you said the first was enough for you.
EDIT: ok, ok, enough of this silly nonsense. I can't expect you guys to blindly follow me.
The case against DiamondEye consists of several elements: thread behaviour, investigation results and gut feelings.
I hereby present you the case against DiamondEye:

Because it is an initiate ability, I think?

I can buy the information gathering, but if you want a conclusive lynch, why not vote for someone who won't survive it?

It was even likelihood for all, if I recall correctly.

Good points, Tincow. Keep up the good work  you're among the sharpest players here - it's good to see you haven't descended to brainless bandwagoning.

Yah, last game basically all the sith had force breath, but quite a few innocents as well. Still, there is a big case against you.

Announcement:
I will be out for the remainder of the day. Round ends at 11:59:59 PM tonight Eastern time whether I am here to stop the round or not.
Also, past the deadline hour, kindly refrain from posting. If there's a mod around, lock it.
If you want a quick pace for this game, don't hesitate to send in your night actions early. I can't advance the game early unless every active ability sends in their orders, it's as important as the murders themselves.

No extensions, under any circumstances, period.
But they do have 48 legal hours, plus this whole day, to send it in. There's really no excuse for not sending it in, in advance even. But everyone gets their full two days unless I have all orders and I can end it early.

Now we need a bandwagon on someone else, cause DE got like 8 votes.

So we're after the remaining sith lord with a kill a night and possibly an ability to recruit
as well as (or instead of) the kill
I'd say we're off to a good start
Also fos:ByzKnight if it turns out there were 3 sith

Talking to DE, I'm not going to vote him today and my suspicions have lessened substantially. Significantly in his favor, despite the problems, is that he *is* really playing very loose and has been all along -- that's a town sign, even for him.
Not sure who I'll vote for yet instead, still pending.
