Just so you know, Seon's character isn't seeing mine; she's seeing a semi invisible white ball, whether or not she know's it's the other end of scrying magic is up to seon.

Alrighty; I'll just wait on one of them to post, mentioning Secura had left (unless she does it herself). In, fact how about she leaves because her tiger senses Morangul returning?

Still here, been away some days but basically still waiting for Secura, so no harm done.

Do you want us to pick you up then, DE? We'll fly over the main road and "notice" you, and at that point we can have pleasant discussions and such and decide if what happens then.

I really haven't paid attention to what happens to other groups, so I think it's easier if Secura eventually gets around to replying, but I don't know :tongue:

Well Secura said she'd be out for a longer while that's why we're talking about picking you and DiY up... but the old man's servant will tell the princess group to find you so it would be really nice if you stuck to the road somehow xD

Alright, I guess I'll soon do another update with the princess group though it would be nice to know who of the group will be available. B_Ray mentioned he'd have to take some time out so this would be a good place the let go of Glungurd for now. Anyone else?

Also, we have kind of a problem. If Chaotix and fluffy hit the road they're going to be on Day 3 I think while the people they wanna meet there (DE, DiY, maybe khaan) are on Day 2 and Secura is still with them although she requested her character leave for some time. Could someone among that group get it going again somehow? I'd appreciate that :yes:

Tell you what I guess me/DE/'khaan could just create an encounter that splits the elves and the humans, since Secura has already said to carry on in the most fitting manner. Given the character's proximity to the now conquered Leon and being on the southward road, it would be fairly feasible I think, I don't mind doing it tomorrow (for me).

It sounds good, just I'd like to hear khaans opinion. He sounded like he was ready to still play, esp since Netherworld is wrapping up and since Secura will still be out for a while it would be nice to tag him along with somebody else. I'd like to get the characters togehter to get them "on the same page" sort of... Then everyone can split up again, which is probably the way to go anyway, for searching the shards. I'll eliminate my two guardsmen soon so we're down to real player characters and NPCs and can then see where that leads us.

What's important is to advance you guys in time, so that the others can actually catch up with you :yes:

I very much enjoyed the first couple weeks, though, and I appreciate the wonderful effort and creativity by our host and others. It was a pleasure! If you like, I'll try to think of a way to write my character out of the story, but it won't be until this weekend, probably Sunday.

Update is finally up, and has taken me much longer than I expected (~1hr 30+) :sweatdrop:

I apologize for its length, and hope that the pictures sufficiently break up what may be the monotony of a huge chunk of words.

Aww, that's a real shame B_Ray :disappointed: I've really enjoyed reading of Glungard's exploits from the very moment you churned out his character role card! Understandably you're travelling with the princess' group which is rather fast paced thanks to TLD's spamliciousness excess of creativity juices (:clown:) but actually I find the general silence of your character to be fairly suitable! (I don't imagine Glungard to be the chatty type). Perhaps you could arrange to come back later like Secura?

If you really decide to leave the narrative though, then I'd just like to say that its likewise been a pleasure and an enjoyment to have been reading the fruits of your labors :bow: and quite understandably, RL always comes first.

Ok, shall I have Morangul and Frijyk notice the commotion of the demon horde while flying over the forest, and we swoop in, scare off the demons, and find Guantano and Alyssa?
Then one of them could mention the elves, and we go look for them, only finding khaan's character, with Secura's character disappearing into the wilderness.

Well for starters we haven't entered day 3 yet. I'm almost done with another update, then DE can "wake up" and life can carry on.

Presumably we would meet you when we are leaving the forest and (I'm guessing) head for the southern road again, though the wisdom in that may be questionable following their attack and the IC response might need to be changed to heading west.

At the moment, I really have the problem how to explain the attack on you but probably just some bloodlusty demons out of control :tongue:

Most demons are with the flying fortress or at the capital. :wink:

Also, I am concerned about activity in the princess group, especially Visorslash ^^ - need to check on that, could use some interaction there

Continuing the trend of Drax being useless in any combat situation, he just fainted :)

Hmm just call it as a raiding band of demons that Vayne (sp?) has sent to check out and scout for information, perhaps an adventurer hunting squad if you will. Or if its more convenient then yes, do call it a band of demons out of control :tongue:

Demons just made more sense to me because its hard to find a big group of renegade soldiers too far away from the main pack :wink:

I must apologise for my tardiness but my college is getting really really stupid and I've been in a mood for a week so I've been putting this off. I'm not quitting and I'm not going to take a smaller role in this I just might have afew days now and then where I am likely to do something dark and depressing or some other way my mood can ruin the story so dont worry if I get inactive for a day or two.

Fluffy, when-abouts do you intend to have us swoop down on DiY and Diamondeye and ruin their touchingly romantic alone-time?

I just realised that a brig doesnt have a forecastle. Or a aftcastle. Or a captain's cabin. Yeah. Best think of the ship Alain and co are on as a very small carrack or indiaman, or something.

She doesn't like otherworldly entities. As much as Morangul is evil walking skeleton of doom, he is still from *this world,* and thus she detects it as something *natural*. Doesn't matter how strong he feels etherically. She saw beings stronger than him before in the forest she came from. Lassa and the demons are something that she had never experienced or even heard about before.

That, or she's a psychopath who feels drawn to other psychopaths like Morangul. Or maybe she counted Morangul as not being a "normal human" due to his immense magical power and didn't care about it. Maybe she doesn;t like the fact that the princess suddenly has an odd "smell" about her.

Or maybe she's just getting... smarter :rolleyes:

As for the HTF, dunno fluffy, the others probably don't know what else to say in that chariot although travel times are usually good point s to flesh out character interactions a bit more, especially between two groups that have just met for the first time ^^

You don't need to be having a conversation on the carriage.
You just need to make it clear we have landed and set up camp.
I think it would be easier for character interaction at a camp than a

Ok I gotta object to the whole caged beast thing, the hand doesnt have a mind of his own or anything.

It's just the way Alain perceives Greyblades behavior, not an objective description of how the new hand works. Alain doesn't even know there is a new hand.

Also, Seon, I just realised, that when Alaria is sensible to things like that, she woud notice that Lassa, who she felt earlier, and all Lassaran gods, are very much part of this world, just very powerful beings of this world, while, yes, the voidpeople are something completely different.

And, to give her an answer, she can use. No, clawman isn't following the princess right now ;)
