Hello
My name is JP Vieira.
I am a fan of this series specially shogun total war.
I enjoy historical based games like these ones and particularly if they have a military component.
My biggest areas of interest are History and illustration and I managed to combine them because i am an historical illustration.
I hope that I can participate as much as possible in this forum, to learn a lot and maybe to help others.

For most of what you mentioned, I'd recommend checking the Monastery out. It's the Org's repository of historical knowledge. Sadly, you cannot post in it until you are promoted to Member. Don't worry, you'll soon become one if you post regularly and in a civilized manner and don't spam.
While you're waiting for your promotion, grab a drink, find a place near the fire and enjoy yourself!

As I said I have a great interest in all things historical, either that be games, texts or illustrations.

I just want to say g'day to everyone on this site. I would like to thank the moderators and all the other contributers to this site. I think it is the most organized and informative fan site for any game series and it is friendly too!
I have been reading this site for years and have always been especially interested in the MODs. I have played BKBs supermod and Vikinghordes XL mod before moving on to the great XGM mod for Rome TW. Of course it all started for me with Shogun TW. A great game series deserves a great fan site and this is it!

I'm a long... well not so long (since RTW)... well, I'm a fan of TW series, anyway.
I'm here to learn from more expirienced than me, and to share my expiriences... also, I realised I know a little about TW terminology, so if someone could direct me to some FAQ it would be very appreciated (so I don't have to ask stupid questons all over the forum).
Also, English isn't my natural language, so I appologiese if I make some mistakes in spelling.

im a long time player of the total war series. I started with shogun (classic game), then went straight to Rome. Im about to go to MTW, as i bought that but didnt play it much, though ive now developed a liking to the Byzantians (hasnt everyone?). MTW2 looks alright, and i might give it a go, and im on the fence with Empires.

Time to introduce myself... Well, Im a longer time lurker on here and I thought it was about time I registered. I've only been playing the TW series since Rome but I must say im totally hooked. I hope I can get my computer upgraded soon so I can play Medieval II, which I must say, looks fabulous, and I can't till we have the know about the modding of it as much as we do of Rome so then we can have some brilliant mods, although I've heard Clouds Across Europe is pretty good.
