the arachosian are fine I guess... they haven't lost that many... and are missile cav

if possible it would be good to retrain the medians though... if not I'll have to make use of what I have

Hmm... I find a spelling error in the library. In the list of the Arche's children, Sarpedon's son is named "Giognetos", while under Sarpedon's personal post, he's called "Diognetos". I don't know which one is correct, though.

why can't i open the savegame? (just testing) when i want to load it, it just returns to the main menu :inquisitive:

yep. to proof that, when i start an AS Campaign i can build generals in 0 turns for 1 mnai

This is interesting. Celtic_Punk had problems similar to this. This will take some time but complete uninstall/reinstall is one option. Just when you do it move the folder where the saves are. At the moment I can't think of anything better since you can start AS campaign with the 0 turn bodyguards.

I also would like to bring out that as a new Strategos you have the chance to become a Satraps Aid. In this position Satrap will be your Lord and not Basileus. You can command the Satraps Army or govern some town if Satrap wants it. But most of all this is military position. I think I haven't made it clear the whole Satrap/Satraps Aid concept before. :inquisitive:

If I have heard things right, this is because of anti-aliasing. Not 100% sure about that, though, since I have AA on and mine don't turn black. But you could try turning that off and see if it helps.

If not, or if you just don't care to do that, you can download and use Fraps from http://www.fraps.com/. It's free unless you want some of the more fancy parts of it, but in any case you'll be able to take pics through that program. (I use it myself, just so long as I remember to turn it on. :shame:)

the MotH scroll doesn't tell you the benefactor before you accept, but I accepted, and the family tree gives Andromachos Syriakos (I think...whichever Syriakos is the Persian Satrap) as the adopter.

I think I'll explain this again..

If MotH offer pops up then save the game. After you have saved it you can accept it and see who is the adopter/benefactor. Then you will pm him and ask whether he wants to accept or decline the offer. So, in the save the MotH offer would be still up until it is clear what the benefactor decides. Everyone who take the save after that offer pops up should just minimize it and do their moves.

I added it to the Helpful Guide - What you should remember while playing WotB. as well.

EDIT: ANd looks like the virus is still in my PC (this happens when many peoples use the same pc:wall:) and I still can't play the game or do my duty as a GM. :shame:

I still have the old save...so I can PM Hax and re-do, though I haven't really heard from him lately. Do I give a time limit (like say 24 hours?) to reply and decline if I get no reply? Sorry if I seem incompetent, but this is my first pbem campaign.

I had problems with my pc because of a virus I had there.
I hope that I got rid of it because I can play the games again.

this virus you had I-K didit make you're computer crash everytime you tried to play a game?

Not the computer, but the game. It was same with the rest of the games as well, constant CTD.

This is one of the best ways to get a virus you can't get rid of so easily!

I have a question:

Could we all agree on one tense and person in the council chambers? I mean, it's not a necessity but I don't think it would be a lot of trouble if we all agree to write present tense and 3rd person in there (or something else.. that's just an example)

Apart from that:
I cant wait till they finally fight that batlle so we can go on ^^
I'm having a lot of fun playing this campaign, in fact so much fun I seriusly consider buying M2TW to join LotR :D
