I think it's fine, since the format in single player mode is different than in multiplayer mode for EB. . .right?

Where do I save the replay file in order to watch it?
Click the little video camera on the battle report.
I think he was referring to the folder where to put the file.
It should be in [Your RTW vanilla folder]/EB/Replays
Or just do what munky told you with any random battle and the folder will be automatically created (unless you have it already) and it should be easy to find afterwards.
BTW, munky... you up for a rematch tonight? In, say... an hour or so?
How about in 30? BSG is almost on :-p
I have never played online, but I just did a clean install and it looks like my EB is booting up alright after the install.
I have Hamachi set up. Anybody up for a match right now? How do you guys usually communicate? via a messenger or on the forum PM system?
I'm up. Look on the last page at the instructions to get into the network. We usually talk via the hamachi chat.
Woo, i have a (i think) fully working hamachi thingy. Ready to play any hellenes whenever you are ready.

Yeah... it was 2 vs 1 with 40K on both sides. Just let this be a lesson to you, Ekdromoi suck.
Macedonian Reformed Pikemen are tough especially when they outnumber you.
Then again, they are supposed to kill peltasts, I was just glad that 1 of my 2 units was able to hold your flanking units for a while.:idea2:
Also, in EB I really get the feeling that Hoplites are underpowered, maybe doing something with them for this tourney would be better. Like the 0.2 density? Right now, either with or without guard mode they get beaten 1 on 1, front or non front.
Tsid beat me with hoplites and a horde of cavalry.
IrishHitman (Kingdom of Macedonia) + tsidneku (Seleucid Empire) vs. Phalanx300 + antisocialmunkey (Roman Republic).

Victory to Greeks.
We (Greeks) formed semi-circle formation in the centre of our deployment area, Romans deployed in two groups.
Roman cavalry moved to our left, we moved our cav, elephants and chariots to intercept.
Roman infantry followed suit soon afterwards, and I moved my right wing phalanx to a right angle with tsi's phalanx, which in turn rotated to line up with mine.
Meanwhile a cav/ele/chariot battle had erupted. Our phalanx line, now advancing, was ignored until it was within attack range, and the inevitable clash of pikes and scuta occurred soon afterwards. The Roman flanks were defeated with cavalry and elephants, and the rest of the line devolved into a rout during and afterwards.
ALL HAIL MAKEDONIA!!!
Technically no one told us straight up that they were using elephants. Still a fun battle none the less.
While I'd still like to wait for a few more players to answer my PM and confirm their participation... I'll probably assign opponent by Sunday night (probably early morning, even... GMT).
Afterwards you'll have a week to set up the first battle with your opponent.
I just hope I get confirmation soon from the other members.
Oh yeah, can anyone out there give us the line to add to the MP EDU to enable Peltastai for the KH? It seems they wee left out in an oversight.
So far what I understand is that we are kicking your butts big-time!
Maion
Msot of them have been 2 vs 2s. I'd like to get you in a 1 vs 1 but I can't connect to you ever since that one battle.
Besides the tournement hasn't even started yet :-D, this is just practice.
If anyone knows how to solve this I can see but can't ping bug, that'd be great.
Well get on Hamachi :-p. I haven't seen anyone on all morning.
I don't think you're too late. The tournament hasn't even started yet.
Well, it.... has, technically. But we're still in the sign-up stage.
So feel free to join.
Roman player, I take it?
Also, timezone and approximate available hours, please?
Sign me up please. I'm a Greek player. :)
EST (-5 GMT) -- available 18:00 to 21:00 EST.
So what Hamachi channel is being used again?
