Heh, that's what a pagan magician combined with a dynamic father will do to you. :laugh4:

I'm certainly missing out on a lot of back door intrigue that's for sure.
Just when you think you know where things are going the plot takes another twist!
History is up to date, I hope that helps people with catching up.
AG, "lover's tiff"? Hmmmm, wrong forum.
I think too many of the nobles are drinking from lead cups if you know what I mean. . .
Come on OK...:laugh4:...you too are making a storm out of a tea cup.Quote:

hopefully the mongols will be extremely aggressive this game so we can see some pretty awesome battles in the east
I have yet to witness that in any of my gamesQuote:

Nothing like the Kaiser giving you a direct Imperial order to compel some craziness.
I hope that wasn't my bottle of wine I gave you as a gift OK!!?? :inquisitive:Quote:

would the Diet impeach Kaiser Henry if he tries to be King of Outremer and take Jerusalem for himself?
Hah, they only wish. The great thing about being Kaiser is that nobody can take the office away from you.
I don't necessarily see a legal case for impeachment either. Sure, what Henry might do isn't really nice, but as we have learned on numerous occasions, Kaisers really don't care for nice. They'll do whatever they please so long as it's legal.
Perhaps if the Kaisers keep thinking that, they'll stroll into the Diet one day to find an amendment turning the whole thing into the HRR... the Holy Roman Republic.
I assume if that happens the faction leader would take on the role of the German equivalent of Princeps Senatus?
Just a note to say I have updated the playlist table with the new avatars. We now have six spare (sorry, Austria - they are 5 Franconians and one 50 year old Swabian).
I'm inclined to leave them as resurrection vessels for elderlycylonscharacters, although I would prefer a more even division across the houses. Otherwise in 20 turns time Dutch_guy and the House of Franconia may be like the old woman and the shoe.
Ituralde and Kagemusha - I think it is time to start working on the in character switch of the von Mahren line to Austria. If it helps any, Jonas has landed in Northern Greece alone with only his bodyguards and is moving to rendezvous with Duke Leopold who is crossing the border form Ragusa, en route to Thessalonica. I am not sure if you want to take Jonas to Thessalonica - I'd be inclined to leave him to guard Austria (given you are bypassing the closer Venetian settlement) but it's your collective call. I could not get a young von Mahren on the Thessalonica expedition in time, although I am working on it.
I think you are taking some OOC stuff and fiddling it into character. The recent stories posted are all confidential and only those involved know about them, no other. As such, a sudden call for impeachment of the chancellor is more than questionable.Quote:

Once the excom threat is over I think the Swabian army is going to just go berserk in France either sacking or killing every city until another excom threat pops up. Due to the fact that the kaiser and chancellor is in the levant, maybe there could be some power struggle here going on.
Who's going to lead this "beserking" action? :laugh4:Quote:

Just a question.
The Swabian edict mentions one province being taken, unless the French send a 1000+ army over the border or a family member of some standing. Has that happened? Sorry I'm away from my PC so I can't see.
Hi gibsonsg91921,
As FactionHeir metions. The only stuff that is public are the Diet proceedings and the Chancellor reports.
Unless you have PM'd people IC then there is no way of you knowing what is going on. You can try and get yourself in the story but then you'd have to approach the players who are collaborating on the story.
You might want to edit your Diet post and change it.
I did amend it a little, with Maximillian's aide saying it is not a threat of impeachment, but rather a warning. Also, i said i was worried about the character of the Kaiser his association with Dusan Kolar, but never mentioned specific things that i would only know out of character.
just thought i'd mix things up, keep it interesting.
Just curious, I see the last save is 1202. Are we a little further ahead? I know there were some battles to be fought but with all the story development I didn't know where we stood time wise. Just thinking if any suitors coming up for the lovely Meckil.
btw, who is the 50 year old swabian? Is he the one Hans adopted?
Well the excom threat is over and seeing as how there might be some argument and dissension in the middle east where many of the empire's top generals are, I might go take the Swabian army for a tour around France and start staking out what I like
hey i think we should help our portuguese allies as a token of our good will in their war against the moors.
great way to spread catholicism and our influence to the east
Iberian Expeditionary Force!
I hate witches, 5 -command star (warts, cursed, and two about being sick) traits in 4-ish turns an and the inquisitor on Corsica hasen't wacked the witch yet.
The worst part is that Gerhard now has a net -moral effect on his men
I think the BHA needs a new commander. :(
Have you been reading the Chancellor's annual reports? The latest one is forQuote:
