Re: 1.0 Succession Game Discussion Thread
Very nice Sassem.
@Everyone Else....
If you haven't given a time online, please PM me with your time....so I can add you to my list for reference and forward it to Sassem so he can place it into that Spreadsheet.
@ Sassem
Please mssg me via X-Fire when you're ready for me to put up the council thread. I assume that the above chart will be placed in the 3rd post for easy reference?
Thanks for your patience, folks. We're almost ready to begin! :yes:

Re: 1.0 Succession Game Discussion Thread
@Poulp'
I hope you've raised the issue in the bug forum. I'm sorry that you have to withdrawal.
When things really bad happen to my comp, I save important things to CD and dump the entire thing. I usually do that at least 1 time a year. Perhaps you might consider that (assuming you know what you're doing, have the OS disc that came with your comp and/or you bought, etc.).
Well, you're always welcome back at any time. :yes:

Saturdays+Sundays 1300-2200
xfire is spawnofebil (although I'm not on much, conserving system resources).

Re: 1.0 Succession Game Discussion Thread
Just so you all know,I'm still here.I swear I sent a reply about that timezone thing.Anyways,here's my information.
I live in Tennessee and we have -6 (GMT-0600) compared to Greenwich Timezone,I think.
On Monday through Friday I'm available on average between 2200 and 0200.On Saturday,its kind of hard to average it since it all depends on whats planned.Overall,available from 1400 till 0500.Sundays, 1900 till 0200.
I hope thats all correct.Managing time zones never was one of my strong points.

Re: 1.0 Succession Game Discussion Thread
Tennessee is pretty much directly south of my state....so you're probably -4 GMT. :yes:

Even if you have cookies off, you can probably do the calculation relating what time it is locally to GMT.
@EasternScourge this will be helpful

Hello.Please do not forget me,I might be a bit inactive due to the Gandharan mod,but ill always vote on time.

Re: 1.0 Succession Game Discussion Thread
I don't think I saw this answered yet, but Spoofa's mod does not break saved games: I tried it myself, and had no problems. Almost all my cities went into negative growth, however, so at least the mod is working properly.
Lots of files to backup, though.
At least this is my experience. That's no guarentee that things will work for you...
-
Re: 1.0 Succession Game Discussion Thread
Yes, but the most important file to back up is the EBBS script....if something happens to that you either have to have someone send you an unaltered version or reinstall.
I don't foresee any problems, as I've been using his mod for two days, and no CtD's of any kind.
I have a few things to finish up today, such as our newest players senate positions, but most things are done.

Re: 1.0 Succession Game Discussion Thread
Thanks madmatg....that will prove to be very helpful....I'll include that in the OP.
To everyone else, I'm currently updating the player list as we speak.
I'll likely be opening up the council thread this evening....it will be open for 48 hrs. to allow players to make in-character proposals and debate our opening moves. Following this we will have an election period of 24 hrs., followed by our first live meeting this Saturday, where proposals will be voted on. I will also open up the council thread from Friday evening to Saturday evening, so players without X-Fire access can vote on the proposals at hand.
Stay tuned...

I have downloaded 1.0, and I installed Ferromancer's BI.exe mod, for the reason that I prefer only this mod in addition to EB itself.
The problem being, that I have not got a backup.
I did this because the mod has an uninstaller, so will it still be stable if I uninstall the mod, delete this map.rwm and install the S.S.BBQ mod?
Sorry, I didn't see this...
I assume it would be fine, but I'm not 100% sure. You might want to contact Spoofa to be sure.

Re: 1.0 Succession Game Discussion Thread
we arent using BI though, and I think that mod installs BI, so you'll have to take off the RomeTW-BI.exe part and just make it RomeTW.exe
but I think i used the same mod to get BI working, although I didnt install the EDU part because of course, its outdated, then again even if you did install the EDU my version would overwrite it so its fine.
... theoretically.
