Porto 3-0 Genk.

Not a correct score if you ask me. Porto coach agreed. Efficiency and maturity won Porto the game. And that "penalty". Red card was deserved though.
Wet Spam were lucky today.
That's seven on the bop against them now.
We are their bogey team.
Good.

The great Roberto saga continues. Thank you Jesus for trusting him!

Is this Roberto cat the twin brother of Flappyhandski?
I wouldn't laugh too much Psycho, Arsene is still on the look out for a keeper...
Oh come on, so many Brits passing by but no info about Tranmere Rovers or Oldham Athletic ? :smoking:
Tranmere are in Liverpool and Oldham are in Greater Manchester.
28secs in Barton gives a Nazi salute. Scumbucket.
Ok but... I hope you could guess I asked for more than that, Psycho-san ?
Bradford City lost again.
My lads are gutted.
:laugh4:
Guess what: Arsenal wanted to buy Roberto from Benfica before the season. Roberto was bought for 8,5 M € (7M £), most expensive GK ever in the Portuguese Liga, and one/two days after, Arsenal wanted to buy Roberto from Benfica for 12 M€ (10 M£)
I don't blame them though. Watch what he did last season. :dizzy2:

Hey, that was not to say that Spurs are not one of my favorites of English football. It was just a sore comparison in despair. :embarassed:
Speaking of which, do English sources lately claim that Robinho may be on his way to Fenerbahçe ? 'Cause we're getting such rumours told to be English media based for a couple of days now.
Sevilla transfer budget = 100 M€
Braga transfer budget = 10 M€
Sevilla completely overwhelmed and outplayed by Braga on it's own stadium.
Braga 4-3 Sevilla (Agg 5-3).
Sevilla only started scoring goals when Braga was winning by then 2-0 and had taken the foot off the accelerator.
Historical qualifying for the Champions League, the first time ever that a Portuguese club outside Lisbon or Porto achieves such a thing.
Anderlecht obviously hired David Beckham to teach them penalty technique.

I wonder why Remy made that choice. Spurs haven't won a major trophy in 50 years. Marseilles are always at the top in France and were champions last season. So the choice between the French Champions managed by the legendary Didier Deschamps over a mid-table English team managed by a twitchy tax-evader is an odd one.
Yes, Gallas is pretty when crying in the centre circle. Gallas is pretty when threatening to score own goals if he doesn't get a transfer out of Chelsea. Gallas is pretty when he misses a third of the season to his yearly calf injury. Gallas is pretty when he realises he's set his demands too high and Arsenal, Juventus, PSG, Panathaniakos, Fenerbahce and Celtic all say they don't want him. Don't worry, a Chelsea fan said to me when we signed him that it'd be a matter of time til he implodes and it'll be the same at the Sp*ds. I like to think of it as a Trojan horse, he'll destroy the team from the inside out.
And I just worry that Young Boys never keep clean sheets. :wink2:

It was a bit of sarcasm but now you have taken it to far my friend! Tottenham is not midtable, 4/20 is not midtable it's more like toptable the EPL is also a much better leauge, why he wouldn't want to test his bottle against the best players in the world is really a refrendum on his manhood IMO. Of course we may have also dodged a bullet considering his heart, declared fit or not that is always in the back of ones mindQuote:

Primadona or not he is what we need considering we are running an infrimary instead of a soccer club at the moment. He is a vet with plenty of experince at this level

All we need to do is win
Well that's something we have in common. Half a squad injured at any given stage of the season.

... 1-0, 2-1, or by 2 goals. And you'd better pray that Spurs don't "win" 3-2, there are way too many Englishmen on Spurs to win a shootout. ~DQuote:

And then I took Ajax to win at -.5
I'd put money on Arshavin, Walcott being English might save him from all but the most cynical hackers.
Nope. He missed a month last season to a Ridgewell tackle.
And the British can no longer complain about Maradona and his handball. Why? Because of Jermaine Defoe, graduate of the Luis Fabiano School of Juggling. The hypocracy of the British press will be on show tomorrow, Johnny foreigners destroying the game, and yet when an English lad does exactly the same, cheating to turn a game, they'll laugh it of, say he didn't mean it. Sigh.
Inzaghi still plays!?!

Divine Justice: Inter, Werder, Spuds, Twente. Ouch.
Barca easy group as usual. For once Chelsea get a potentially tricky group. ManU straight-forward group. Tricky group for the Gunners, lots of Eastern European ties, and a fired-up Braga side. Madrid with what on paper looks tough, but they shouldn't struggle too much, Milan are old, Ajax are not the team of old. Roma and Bayern shouldn't have issues either.

Get to play the legendary Braga. And Dudu will get a warm reception. Lot's of travelling, but luckily so do ManU and Chelsea. Spuds 2nd? We'll see, Inter without Mourinho are unknown, Werder never give-up and Twente have class. If old twitchy plays a 4-4-2 in Europe (lol), then 3rd at best.
But, more importantly, if anyone was watching the ESPN coverage, Sneijder's WAG was hawt.
Bursaspor directly qualified to CL, that's why there's A Turkish team in Euro Cups, I guess.
Trabzonspor, Fenerbahçe (gah) and Galatasaray all beaten out of the competition as only Besiktas manages to proceed to Euro League.
