C'mon, I gave you fair warning this time, all those IC messages saying we'd be a war if we couldn't come to an agreement. Hardly a backstabbing!
And you were clearly preparing for it, why else are you sneaking your FM through Rus lands towards my northern border?

No sweat Phonics, I saw your two stacks sailing in one ship each north of the African coast. I've known for a while. I hope your guys brought their rubber duckies :smash:
I'm more aware of what's going on than you think.

I doubt that! I'm counting on your being fully aware
EDIT: and I should say I'm looking forward to fighting you again!

I know 48 hours are not up yet, but I'm wondering if @Zim is able to do his turn by now...? Anyone has intel about that? @Nightbringer?

Re: The March of Time - A Stainless Steel 6.4 hotseat
Oddly, SS is the only of the mods/Kingdoms Campaigns that is not saving to some place outside my regular games folders so I'll be able to play England tonight.
-
Re: The March of Time - A Stainless Steel 6.4 hotseat
In which drive you installed game? C: drive? According to my experiences, C: is quite troublesome.
-
Re: The March of Time - A Stainless Steel 6.4 hotseat
C drive, although this is the first time I had a problem with it.
Save for Gaius Octavius Caesar

Also, an anomaly to report to @phonicsmonkey One of my provinces in England itself (Mercia) shows on the minimap as belonging to poland (and shows white borders on the main map). I can recruit from it normally, build in it normally, and merge troops into it. Phonics, could you check my save and see if it shows that way for you as well?
-
Re: The March of Time - A Stainless Steel 6.4 hotseat
this too happened to me in wrath of the khan, after a while i checked my saves, and i found that i had played the save during the late campaign, so that may have been your problem

Sent him a PM right now - just to be on the safe side.
Better more than needed than not enough. :D
-
Re: The March of Time - A Stainless Steel 6.4 hotseat
That thing always happens with england and poland. It is just a weird glitch and has no other effects aside from the minimap oddity.
-
Re: The March of Time - A Stainless Steel 6.4 hotseat
Of course, I'm too old to rely on that newfangled @ stuff. ~;p

FYI Monkey wanted to trade settlements. I asked for the levante in return for N. Africa and he never contacted me untill he attacked me. So I've not betrayed my word.

I did not consider that a serious proposal, IC or OOC
OOC I don't think either of us has acted dishonourably

Re: The March of Time - A Stainless Steel 6.4 hotseat
I could have hardly kept the levant if you had agreed to such a trade.

True, but that would have meant me going back on my word, which I did not want to do.
I'm curious though, why would you agree to a deal like that if you believed I would betray it?
-
Re: The March of Time - A Stainless Steel 6.4 hotseat
First it would have given me the moral high-ground versus you, for RP purposes but also to ensue you get more enemies than you know what to do with. No one wants such a huge faction to be their neighbour if they are proven traitors.
Second, you would have to move a lot of armies to the east to reconquer the Holy Lands, and this is lead battles. You being a cautious player would mean I'd get a few turns of trade from there + the option to sneak some stacks around, take other settlements, sack or even remove some of your own stacks. Overall you'd be bogged down reconquering your own lands.
Also, I'd have a massive staging point form Italy, where retaking the African lands would take but a few turns, since I have the bulk of my forces concentrated in one strong front. Plus, there was always the option of you keeping your word.

Re: The March of Time - A Stainless Steel 6.4 hotseat
Hmmm, @phonicsmonkey, are we going to wait for @Gaius Octavius Caesar or shall we move on?

Sorry, I got that too, I just wanted to be clear that this wasn't just a Moors don't attack for a turn thing, but a "I don't want to pull a surprise attack so we can both have a turn to prepare so we start from even ground next turn."
