That's what they want you to believe.
Necessary is something that absolutely needs to happen. Unnecessary is something that can happen, but doesn't have to happen. More opposite to necessary, is forbidden, since that means it absolutely shouldn't happen.
I think it's not impossible, because impossible means that it's not possible for it to happen; but that's not really opposite to necessary, as necessary doesn't say something about the probability of something to happen, but more about how likely you want it to happen.
Necessary is more a subjective word.

Quote:
Logical truths (including tautologies) are truths which are considered to be necessarily true. This is to say that they are considered to be such that they could not be untrue and no situation could arise which would cause us to reject a logical truth. However, it is not universally agreed that there are any statements which are necessarily true.

I don't even know how you get to necessary from impossible, to be honest.
Something can also be certainly impossible

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Went to Houston for a marathon over the weekend, and stopped by a place called "Which wich". The "Wicked" was incredible. Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef, Pepperoni and bacon. Topped with pepper jack, american and cheddar cheese; pickles, red onions, lettuce, tomatoes and a southwestern spicy sauce. Was a little pricey $26 for 2 people, but it was worth it. I'm not sure how popular this chain is, but if one is nearby I'd highly recommend it.
I also got caught up on the Justice League comics. Honestly, I wasn't that thrilled with the Trinity War. What comes next is more interesting than the actual "war"

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Hmmm. My mom has 5 poisened blowgun darts, the ones they use in the amazone. I want them. Futile to ask if I can have them probably but it would be cool to just have them. And yes I know my mom isn't your typical mom, she is now looking for a cannon for the garden (there allready is one in the house, really small one that was used on small boats) I am still waiting for the halberd she promised me 3 years ago. She may be a bit strange but how awesome is it to have a mom that wants a cannon in the garden and wants to buy me a halberd.

You would laugh your :daisy: off if you saw her arsenal. I can't post pictures sadly, I am not even allowed to enter the place, but there is an absolute wealth of awesome stuff she has. Including a few versions of the guns Docter Schultz from Django Unchained has. WANT. Can't have sadly.

I often complain about the police, and often with good reason. But after reading on his blog what his day was like I felt really bad for that. All he could do was pick up the parents at home to say goodbye to their kid who was in a cra accident and trapped in the wreck, still alive and concious, but had almost zero chance of surviving getting out of the wreck. They did their best but kid died. Breaks your heart.

Instant Shakespear-syndrome, seeing a friend in the line in the supermarket, tapping him on the shoulder, 'The villainy you teached me I will EXECUTE'. Two seconds before bursting into laughter, leaving everyone amazed.

Just cashed my first paycheck from my new job yesterday. Felt good. I got more from just over one week's pay than I did from two at my other job.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Looks like I will get a job starting next week if they get a Disclosure Scotland (background check) through on time, finally a job with regular hours and not too shabby pay for somebody in my position (£8 an hour), since I stay with my parents so I can rake up savings.
If that falls through I also have an interview with ASDA (Walmart), just as a backup.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Good luck. Tip, buy new clothing before doing the interview. It's a mindtrick but it works.

My rather plumb but absolutily adorable housemaid showed me some pics of her time when she was still working as a volunteer in Africa. I can't recognise her, she's incredibly goodlooking on these pics. Victoria Secrets have been cleaning my house and I didn't even notice

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Big Bore Blowgun is the coolest thing ever. I score bull's eye after bull's eye, you almost always hit what you are aiming for. It's kinda odd that these things are legal because they are pretty dangerous, these darts hit harder than my recurve. I shot at a rollade (rolled up piece of meat, about 10 cm thick) and it went straight through it, and ended up 2 cm in my wall. Awesome.

This really speaks to me.
Just read to the end from the linked page. You don't even need any familiarity with the manga - once you read it, you'll understand.

I got home and found my goulash stew I was making on the floor. I also found a cat who knows perfectly well that he wronged me.

What makes it extra hilarious is that I never hurted him, but he knows he pissed me off

Awesome, I am too goodlooking. Dating site (yeah I know don't hurt me) said I should send my real pic.
My sister insists I am a Brad Pitt lookalike. Nice to hear.

Could be, but I also put less stock in games that happen now anyways. If they're Keystone Kops later in the season we'll see.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus, who is going to die because of an overdose in a hotel first? The entertainment industry is sick, suits are vampires that suck every bit of life out untill they have feeded enough. Of course they know very well what is going to happen when the floor is swept away under the feet of these very very unlikable kid-stars. Hard to pity them because they are so hard to pity, but you have to keep in mind that they are being played.

My university's football team finally made it into the top 25 team list, only to be demolished by FSU today, 63-0. According to ESPN it is the worst loss by a top 25 team ever.
Great, and we were so excited to finally be in the top 25.

Hey, I'm just down the road from you. My team (UMBC) is undefeated in football (because we don't have one)

Why is it so funny to me for a shopper in a grocery store to treat a woman in a wheelchair as a shopping cart full of groceries?
