You heard. If you play my game, you contribute :whip:
:tongue3:
Sasaki died in a similar manner.
Planning on hosting another one Myrd?
I want to play it again.
Yes I am, if nobody else wants to try their hand?
Do I have to follow the mafia queue rules for this?
Actually, disillusionment was the best way to interpret it, since it was a shameless rip off of the US Marine Corps Rifleman's Creed, or at least the version of it that I remembered from Full Metal Jacket. Not exactly a movie that promotes harmony with the 'establishment.' I have a thing for movie quotes. I annoy my coworkers with them on a daily basis.Quote:

In a way, the fact that it's the "Rifleman's Creed" or whatever, makes the story even better, since you're meant to be a special forces operative
@Ichigo, I do need a little time to rest my fingers from typing, and come up with something to make the next game different (and better). Suggestions on a postcard please.
I understand completely. This game certainly looks fun, and I might try it next time, but it also looks real darn difficult to run.Quote:

I hope I don't run into shlin again next time. He will be gunning for me.
So glad you took over Myd. Decent write-ups FTW!
(I tried to make it balanced, with everyone at 18 (Str, Survival and weapons.)
Some went over, some went under. Thanks to GH!
You did very well there, Myrdd
Even second-hand the write-ups were a lot of fun to read ~:)
I'll be sure to join if and when you decide to run it again
Alright the PMs that I still have (Should be most of them):
Initial PM:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
So I had some really nice stats, but a real dud of a "weapon". I need something better than that, so I started in the Clinic. My first PM to pever was:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Unfortunately for me, shlin had a similar idea to myself:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
An evil grin comes to my face... I noticed the trip wire he had and a fiendish plan came to me...
shlin offered me an alliance, which I naturally "accpeted"
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I never meant to honour it.
I then come up with the idea of travelling along the coast to C7 and into B6, keeping clear of the mansion. I assumed someone would be in there waiting to strike at us. We didn't have a real weapon between us, so I didn't like our odds. Then I sent this PM to pever:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I was feeling particularly nasty, so I though that I would give him a turns worth of supplies and then see what happens to him. Pity he didn't get his next PMs in.
My PM came back with:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Followed closely by shlin's:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
This was when Myrd started to take over the writing. My first turn to him was:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
This would have left me in a strong position and certainly would have been cool. I know that in the next game everyone is going to be paranoid about the well :laugh3:
My PM came back
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
So I decided to head to the well:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
In my next turn, the great saga of the damn Mulberry Bush starts:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Damn that Bush! Pine trees are much better conversationists! My next turn:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
And again:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
By this stage I am clearly going mad and getting bored, so I decided to venture out and see the sights that this island offered...
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Now I know that those two explosions were probably Caius and shlin
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
So now I was getting really bored, my trap hadn't worked (Though it would have if I had just stayed in place a few turns more), so I decided to venture out again, this time towards the church. I wanted to avoid being seen from the steeple at all costs (assuming a sniper was up there) and was hoping to sneak in and choke the sniper, setting up where they were.
But...
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Great game guys :2thumbsup:
So GH was the person who killed me? Well, it doesn't really matter anyway, because my character is the weakest in the game I believe. Armed with only kitchen knife and have overall 1 point stats...:inquisitive:
Just one turn, and it's all over...
I walked into the church, dressed quite smartly in the corpses of Twilight, Warluster, and two others who died at the school (greater and warmaster I think). Unfortunatly, survival rating one and the fact that I apparently decided to perform my actions in the reverse order I listed them got me pwnd.
'Role' PM -
And here's the write-up of my death;Quote:
Strength: 10
Survival: 1
Weapon: Remington 870 (shotgun) (8)
Description: You are incredibly strong, with a good close range weapon, but terrible at surving.
My one regret is that I only killed Twilight and Warmaster before going down. :(Quote:
As you begin your journey to the church, a thin haze of light rain begins to fall. The kind of rain that doesn't seem too bad, but before long soaks you from head to toe. You're quite a clumsy man already (survival 1), and combined with your home made armour, you make quite a racket clambering along the main road. The clotted blood from your 'armour' begins to run in the rain.
The rain thickens, and you pick up the pace, whilst being careful to keep you gun as dry as possible. The clouds are darkening the sky and land, you see sheet lightning, and hear the distant roll of thunder.
Leaving the main road in E5, you take a dirt track heading north east, towards the church. You slow, making your way carefully, eyes scanning your darkening and soaked surroundings. The church is ahead, and it appears abandoned.
You enter cautiously, checking the main isle, the back rooms, and a side chapel to Saint Sebastian. They are all empty. The rain is thundering on the roof of the Church, with several leaks causing a quieter but constant dripping noise. You close the main doors. Pulling out your bloodstained bible, you place it on the altar and search through the pages, bloody fingers staining the paper.
You search through services for the consecration of churches, passages for the blessings of relics. As you flip the pages, lighting flashes and thunder echoes around you. Blinding white light fills the church. You jump, then chuckle at your foolishness. God doesn't strike people with lightning these days does he? Laughing nervously, you look through the liturgical texts on relics again.
The door swings open, and before you have time to react two grenades fly through the air and detonate almost immediately. Shrapnel flies and impacts into your chest, and you collapse on the altar steps. The wooden pews are strewn about at odd angles, some of them cleanly snapped into two. Small flames lick around some of the drier wood.
Clenching your jaw with the pain in your chest, you swing your raise your shotgun and send a spray of pellets towards the doorway. But the door has swung shut and your pellets impact harmlessly into the wood. You cock the shotgun and search around for a target, but see none. As you clamber to your feet, one of the windows to the side shatters. You swing your shotgun and fire, pellets flying into the rain. In horror you watch the grenade come through the now shattered window. Time slows, and you try to dive to the side, but the grenade explodes on impact with the floor. White light blinds you, sound deafens you, sharp pain fills you, and everything goes black. Time to meet your maker, you have some explaining to do...
RIP
One thing you could possible think about is a new map.
That's an idea, I'll think about this game and maybe if I have time a new map over the next week, then I'll go about starting the next game. I've thought of one new role. Any special role, special object, special place or special weapon ideas anyone has please PM me
Congratulations, TinCow, you certainly have deserved to win!
This is how things panned out for me:
My initial PM:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
My first impression on seeing these stats was that I'd have to go it alone. Not being that strong, and without a good weapon, I couldn't trust anyone.
Original First turn orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
My starting position was a reflection of my stats; I obviously didn't want to be discovered in my vulnerable position. I had originally intended to remain in my hiding place until I could ambush someone.
First Turn Orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
But then I realised that I needed a better weapon and quickly. I thought that the mansion would have larger probability of hidden weapons, and I was proven right.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I was in luck; a M9 greatly increased my arsenal of weapons. However, annoyingly I now had Ichigo as an ally, something which I wished to avoid. Also, as Ichigo was weaponless except for a video camera, I obviously had to either give him my knife or hand over the M9. I had no intentions of letting the M9 out of my hands, so I agreed to hand my knife over to him. In return, I would take possession of the M9. Still, I was worried that Ichigo might literally stab me in the back. Taking no chances, I dealt with him.
Turn 2 Orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
My meticulously detailed orders show how nervous I was that something would go wrong. Nothing did, however, and I now had plenty of food and water.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I now had two weapons and was starting to feel confident.
Turn 3 Orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Ok, so maybe this wasn't the wisest idea, but I was determined to go after a few people.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I was relieved to say the least, when I discovered that the clinic was empty. I was very happy with my new position. I had a great hideout that was easily defendable by my M9, and I was sure that I would have some visitors soon. Still, I had to take precautions.
Turn 4 Orders.
[spoil}I would like to barricade myself in the clinic. I will use anything I can find to block up the windows and broken door, leaving only narrow slits for me to shoot from.
I will throw the packet of cigarettes I found 40 metres from the entrance to the clinic as bait.
I will then set up Ichigo's video camera outside the clinic, so that I can see anyone approaching.
If anyone approaches, I shall wait until they come within 50 metres of the clinic and then open fire upon them.
Ignoramus.[/spoil]
I was overconfident at this time, and later events were to make me realise the danger of my position.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I panicked at this point. I knew that sooner or later the sniper would attempt to storm the building, and as I daren't take any risks I had no way of tracking his movement.
Turn 5 Orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I really had no choice but to sit it out, hoping for the best. What happened was beyond my best expectations.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Somehow, I had managed to survive two assaults in the same turn. At the time, I thought GH and AggonyDuck were allied, but this wasn't the case. I now had an impressive arsenal of weapons: a knife, a sword, a machine pistol, an M9, a shotgun, a sniper rifle, and grenades. The strange device that I found on GH later proved to be very useful.
Turn 6 Orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Thanks to my recently aquired weapons, I was now ready to take the offensive. The Medical Clinic at this stage was a mess, and I needed a more secure base of operations.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Someone had very kindly taken out the former occupants of the church, and the building was now deserted. I was now thinking that I might actually have a chance at winning the game.
I can't remember my Turn 7 orders, but I basically just patrolled the church and studied GH's device.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I was basically just waiting for people to come to me now.
Turn 8 Orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The reference to the car was related to Myrddraal posting a screenshot of car-keys. I was basically invincable to anyone except snipers, hence my caution in the steeple.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
In my commanding position, I just had to wait.
Again, I accidently deleted my PM of my Turn 9 orders, but I basically was going to snipe anyone who came in range.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I was really only worried about being taken by suprise, and that is what happened.
Turn 10 orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I had a feeling something would happen, and sure enough it did.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Another causalty to add to my list! Up til this point, I was in a winning position. However, I now blundered, which caused the effects of my second blunder to really ruin my chances.
Turn 10 Orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Evacuting the church was stupid. I had a commanding position of the western half of the island, and the forbidden zones were herding people towards the island's centre.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I tried to get Orb near me on a fabricated story of a mortar, but as it was this late in the game, it was pointless.
Turn 11 Orders:
Hello Myrdraal,
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I hadn't been as active during this turn.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
After this, I made my second blunder - I forgot to send my orders in. This caused me to get sunstroke.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Needless to say, it put me in a bad situation. But my dumbest action was motivated by storytelling, not wisdom.
Turn 13 orders:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
This was pure lunacy! Of course the well would be poisoned this late in the game. Sadly, I got overconfident.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I had a very narrow escape from certain death. But now I was most vulnerable, being unconscious for an entire turn.
Fortunately, I remained undiscovered.

Great game guys. Congratulations to TinCow!
Well I died really quickly
Strength:3
Survival: 10
Weapons:NA
I only had 2 walkie talkies and I was supposed to find my teammate
I somehow got shot in the back with a shotgun whilst hiding and looking for a weapon (well I found a bible) on turn 1
:DQuote:
I somehow got shot in the back with a shotgun whilst hiding and looking for a weapon on turn 1
Shotgun is your friend.
Although i'm too lazy to get my role pm, i remeber very clearly
Strength: 5
Survival: 10
Weapon: N/A
I HAD a pair of house keys. :whip: orb I'LL REMEMBER THIS.
First I went to residental area to look for my car.
Then luckly allied with Orb and Doh. We then travelled around looking for supllies, I found three weapons A Rifle, knife, and something else dont remember. We then ditched DoH and stole all his stuff. I then followed Orb around everywhere, while searching for my car. BUT Mydrall never let me have the car, like come on, i went everywhere and i couldn't find my car  Well then before we arrived at the mountains i was planning on betraying Orb to steal all his stuff, but nooooo, he betrayed me first, and then i got a mace smashed in my face. THE END. And Mydrall if you are planning on making another please inform me because i would like to help, but its not a mandatory thing cuz at the same time i want to play.
Yes I will be doing another game. I've thought of a few things to make it different and new whilst still keeping all the elements of this game. If you've got more idea's I'd be more than happy to hear them, catch me in the chatroom (if you can) or send me a PM.
It seems (reading other people's PMs) that Pever had intended the car to be in Mansion driveway. However when I took over the game I straight away decided a location for the car (and other special objects). You didn't go in either place I'm afraid.
I would try to avoid any pre-set 'teams' like I had. If people want to arrange them after meeting up in-game, that's great, but setting them up at the start (1) seems unfair - I had 2 allies with excellent stats right from the start - and (2) introduces problems if people stop responding to PMs. If starting teams are required, perhaps limit them to 2 for ease of communication.Quote:

Yeah, sasaki was guilty last game.
Vote: Sasaki
