i am new to this forum as you can see.

For my sins i actually live in Bognor Regis. Well somebody has to.

i have all the TW games and all the expansions including Alexander but have yet to play it.

i am currently playing Napoleonic total war. a lot.

and have just downloaded Pike & musket TW to try out later tonight.:2thumbsup: :2thumbsup:

I started playing the TW series when I saw a commercial for Rome Total War. I did not know that there where other TW's at the time but haven't bought any of the old ones. I can't wait till MTW2 comes out; it looks fantastic.

I'm proud to be part of the people that is the bravest of all the Gauls: I'm Belgian. 28 years old, have a degree in law (don't shoot me plz), like cycling, swimming, reading and love my girlfriend (soon to be my wife) and Total War (if I'm ever to divorce, Activision, Sega and Creative Assembly will be held responsable :2thumbsup: ).

Ever since I got my hands on Medieval Total War, I'm a big fan of the Total War series.

Not really a big fan. Actually I'm an addict. And since I got Barbarian Invasion I think I'm going to die from an overdose :help:

Maybe I won't post alot in the forums because I don't have that much time, but I felt obliged to register so I could just say thank you for this magnificent site and those magnifcent stories I loved to read.

Hello, I'm Wodanaz *points to name* obviously...

I'm new to the entire Total War series, but I picked up a copy of Rome: Total War gold edition about six months ago and absolutly love it. I have recently switched over to the Europa Barbarorum mod and can't get enough of it. Looking forward to trying out some other mods as well if someone can recomend several good ones.

Favorite factions: Germania (R:TW Vanilla) and Sweboz (EB) with the other "barbarian" tribes coming in close behind in both games. Something about the more "civilized" armies just bothers me I guess.

I really don't know what else to say here, so I'm going to be quiet now.

Oh, I forgot to say I no longer play RTW, so will probably only post in the Tavern etc.

a) Give a BIG thank you to anyone on this site who has written a tutorial or has ever answered a modding question. Without you, my project 77 BC - Twilight of the Empire, would only have been a dream.

b) Try to contribute to this great site in whatever subject I can, with my humble modding experience and my modest knowledge of the Classical Age.

By the way, I would also like to apologize in advance for whatever grammar or vocabulary mistakes I make, as English is not my first language.

Conradus, living in Belgium (you know the small European country with NATO, EU, ... headquarters and some American A-bombs )
I've been playing Total War eversince Shogun first appeared (what was it 6 years ago?) and bougth everyone since then (except Alexander, hate download pays)
Played a couple of mods, including RTR and EB and if I can help some with a little historic advice (I'm quite good at it), just ask, although I'm sure there are far better historics then me on this board

I am not quite sure what you are asking. Do you want to know how to take screenshots? In M:TW you can simply press F2 and you will find them in the TGA folder of the M:TW map. For R:TW, the procedure is slightly more complex: how to take screenshots.

Warcraft
Command & Conquer.

I have been in the Guild for about a week now. It looks to be a very nice forum for the Total War world!

I live in Denver, Colorado, and I make maps for a living.

I have played MTW since early 2003, and enjoyed it very much... but i never played any of the other games. I got Eras 2 weeks ago, and appreciate that that all the games, expansions, and extras are only on 6 discs. nice!

I am also looking forward to playing RTW.

Medieval 2 coming out in November, looks to be very cool... especially with all the changes to the campaign game (the one part of MTW that i always thought could use some improvement).

I have several questions in one: :inquisitive:
I have RTW with Barbarian Invasion in Eras pack. Does it need any patch updating? and what is Rome Total Realism? I have heard about this and I guess it upgrades RTW? What patches are needed so that the other factions can be played (from the start) besides just the 3 roman families in RTW?

RTR is a mod for RTW that makes the game more realistic.
