Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
And who would want to set up Captain Blackadder?
Okay, if we don't lynch him today, he needs to be in a room by himself, maybe tied down to something. And yes, can we do an exorcism on him today, this "evil force" is getting a little too connected to him!

Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Vote: Move, so CB doesn't get killed from town negligence.
Can we please decide on a method of action? If CB can be exorcised, do so. If you want to test whether or not a night kill happens with a lynch, then do so. If you want to not lynch at all, then do so.
Either way, a course of action needs decided upon - I am moving towards the idea that all knowledge we currently have be shared with the dead (if possible), and not lynching until then. We can't solve the puzzle if everyone keeps hording the pieces.

Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Today's day seven, correct? Methos has said since the start that exorcisms only work through day six. I suppose it can't hurt for him to try.
-
Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Agreed...we are getting nowhere with just examining the mansion.
i am tempted to play this a regular mafia game given the additional info abt the kill writeups...

Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Guys, maybe Renata's porcelain doll possessed him.
CB, destroy the doll.
-
Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Or chicken dance the doll.
Make her scream.
EDIT: But even if we get rid of the girl, we are still going to have someone killing one of us.
-
Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Do you know how disturbed I am now its haunting me I feel a little sick
-
Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Why on earth do you think the girl and the killer are separate? No one catch the subtle hint that the killer can influence the write ups? You really believe you can trust anything the night write says about who is guilty?
-
Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Huzzah I have returned from Prom!
Read writeup, need to do more careful analysis tomorrow morning. Looks..... hm, looks like we're still being possessed, but unsure if that means we should lynch CB
vote: Move for now.

Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Looks like exorcism was not possible...

Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
I got a result back tonight. I'm in the living room, and thought about others that tried to destroy things in the house (like the fan, lawn mower...) so I destroyed the TV and DVD...electronics, it came back as worse, now I'm having trouble breathing. So with this info, I concluded destroy everything that is or could be dangerous or harmful. Like the fan (blades) mower (blades) mirror (could be smashed and used to cut someone). Keep everything that can be good, not harmful (lights (esp. the lights-every time there is a murder, the light are suddenly turned off), soft things, entertainment things...unless it looks too personal like the doll). But somehow the dang clock can't be destroyed. I guess it is too important to the story and game. Again what the heck do the numbers mean. And I think CB stated last phase that the doll is now gone.
I guess I shall Unvote: Vote: Move as well, need to leave this living room now.

As Renata has said and as I stated in the thread, when I first gained the ability to perform exorcisms I was told the demon would be too strong after day 6, which is why I tried so hard to get White Eyes to learn how to perform them.

True and with any luck, the destruction of some items may have weakened the demon, so...
@ATPG: This is an order, I'm performing an exorcism on Capt. Blackadder.
Also, Vote: Move I'm actually getting tired of being in the computer room.

No effect.
Exorcisms won't work after last night.

Going to do a bit more research on the history of the house.

Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Here is something to ponder, I just checked the write ups again, on the summary thread. The murders don't start until the 3rd night. Beefy replaced Zack after the 2nd night to the 3rd day. Why so soon replace an inactive player, when others now have gone longer and not been wog'd or replaced. I think Zack was the mafia and needed to be replaced soon and Beefy stepped in and the murders begin. And who was the 1st murder Flaxy. Coincidence? I think not.
Unvote: Vote: Lynch Beefy
-
Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
I'm not positive, but didn't Zack ask to be replace? Either way, I still like your reasoning.
Unvote; Vote: Beefy

Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
that is a reasonable case - atleast it gets the game moving.
unvote; Vote: Beefy

Although it may sound reasonable, I am against this. There was specific reasoning for Zack's quick replacement, which was him informing Pizza he would not be able to play at all anymore period. I also do not see how TF is related to it at all, considering neither Split nor I are dead...

Time to dance a gay Galliard, methinks. :7princess:

Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
I could be wrong, but I think it was Johnhughthom, (not Zack) that was the one that asked to be replaced (he also did so in many of his games- finals I think it was) and Secura replaced him and that happened, the next night, after there was already a murder.
-
Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Winston, what is up with you and all the dancing? Your making yourself suspicious!
-
Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
When I joined the game, JHT had already processed his orders for the night, which was to stay in the attic for a second time with Niklas. :S
Not entirely certain what your post is suggesting, treacle. :<

Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
YLC it is the "love affair" that they are having (that part was just the icing on the cake- the joke part of my accusation). The other part is valid.
-
Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Fine lynch me. But someone keep researching the history of the house.
Its interesting and could be the key to solve this game.
-
Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
I think we should definitely not lynch anyone at this point. With (presumably) only one evil power the chances of a mislynch are simply too great for the good of the innocent cause. And it still feels like we're actually making some progress on the puzzle so that we might soon have more accurate suspicions to go on.
vote: Move

Emphasis by me. Which mirror are you talking about, Diana?
-
Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Any mirror in this house, they could be used when broken. Also knives, anything sharp... Also forks and wire hangers- The Flax's kill was with wire hangers, and Cent.1's was with a knife and fork. Just start destroying everything that could be used as a weapon. This might help weaken this "evil force" (it can't hurt anyway).
-
Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Wire hangers is also what killed the couple back in 1966. If I remember correctly they were hung by them.
