Yes, in both MU Anni and Throne game

In the former of those, he was on my scum team so I didn't have to read him ;), but I do think he played very well. He was one of the team captains, I guess you could say.

And in Throne, he was the Mad King (leader of one of the evil factions), I was a neutral, and I TRed him for most of the game.

So that considered, if he's scum this game, he's probably not taking it as seriously cos this isn't a mash game? Or cos he's just a goon?? Idk really.

ftr I take non mashes wolf game wayyyy more seriously than mash wolf games

but I have randed wolf in a non mash only 1.5 times in the last couple of years so I think only dya has actually seen me wolf in standard games here and zack a little bit

I've seen ladd wolf twice at least.

My experience when he is a villager is he starts the game slow and gets a lot of heat for it, almost every time without fail.* He takes time to build up to his full power.

The only time I recall seeing him wolf was in a team game where we not in the thread together on the same day, and my team may have actually already been dead by the time he was in the thread, don't remember exactly. He was very good tonally, and I distinctly remember having trouble reconciling how he was so villagy but making such wolfy pushes. The answer, of course, was because he was a wolf pushing his agenda. When we later played as v/v in a light game, our reads and thoughts on the game were almost impossibly similar. That said, he's keenly aware of that and so I don't put much stock into him agreeing a lot with me so far in this game, especially when it's mostly bland agreement with me after the fact.

All that said, I don't think he is super villagy or anything but he's definitely not wolfy either imo and killing him day one would be a mistake because he's an extremely good villager that people often misread on day one.

yeah coincidentally I agree and actually almost posted soemthing similar a while ago before being distracted by something (probably insaner)

not that I think they are wolfy but both their "push" on me and monty are pretty weak

i don't think i like ladd putting himself in the middle of a list of people that have been "villagery". i've included myself when talking about people i think are good before but it's always either at the start or the end, being in the middle feels artificial instead of natural

That's pretty much why I'm wolfreading him. I don't think he has a villagery agenda. But I get why you would disagree given your reads this game.

I'm kinda internally debating with myself whether lynching you d1 is a good move or not

As for Mont, I can't really interact with him further until he comes back, which I don't think he has done yet

trying to catch up a little in my 30 minutes free, u ppl talk a lot

i think logic is probably good. i liked his post about ladd, found myself agreeing with almost all of it and thought it had some conviction to it

Anyway, gonna start reading back and working on my reply now.

i'm finding myself agreeing with whatever post is the last one i read, and then changing my opinion when i read another post that has an almost contradictory opinion. this has never been a problem irl games because people have pretty distinct voices but when i'm just reading words i'm having trouble figuring out if someone is bad or good and instead it's turning into a matter of me agreeing or not agreeing, and most of the time i'm just agreeing if they sound reasonable

to u ppl who play more forum games how do you train yourself out of this?

I generally feel trusting the people whose names start with la and end in dd is the best strategy in forum mafia

but for real, that's something that happens to me d1 too some

just gotta lock in some stuff (for example I have decided zack is a villager and am basing my play today around that for a good part) and then when flips start to come the game becomes way easier

well since i'm trying to avoid trusting other people and form my own opinions, that means removing people whose names start with l and end in dd from the game is probably the most beneficial course of action

I actually started on forum so I don't really recall ever experiencing this problem
