Hey guys, just joined. I've never done ths forums thing before, so forgive me if I screw up (which I always find a way to do). My name's Cory from TN in real life, Cronos on here. I play MTW, bought Rome and I wasn't too impressed. I'm very ashamed to say that to win I have to use the million dollar code. I'm good in the field, you know killing the bad guys, but when it comes to the economy I'm screwed. ANYways, I just wanted to say hey.

I'm a college student (a junior this fall) from Southeastern Michigan. I like to play Rome: Total War, but never tried the earlier TW games. I aim to buy Medieval 2 when it does come out, though.

Been here as a lurker/downloader of all kinds of stuff for a while now, played my way through all the total wars (except viking invasion) and rome total realism... now waiting for Europa Barbarorum to reach a stage beyond beta (I'll be honest, I enjoy playing so much more than finding bugs... :embarassed:)
Anyhow - today I accidentally stumbled across the pbem section of this forum (while searching for mods on MTW) - what a very cool idea to have! I'll have to check right away whether anybody is planning on starting a game anytime soon! :jumping:

Btw - any possiblity of not seeing those avatar pics twice (one large, one small) on the side of the page? Tried, but couldn't figure this one out.

I regestered a looooooong time ago but I only lurked and didnt post. I have been looking for a decent total war site for the past year and thies one seems good. You can call me Shawn or my celtic alias Conall. Im a big fan of the celts and me being irish and scottish (maybe even pictish) i am very interested in them and i even wear a torc just like they did. There are two active PBM's right now, one for R:TW 1.5 (Seleucids) and one for BI 1.6 (WRE). The latter has plenty of players waiting for their turn, but there may be place in the "Heirs of Alexander". If you wish I or another moderator can post your message there.Quote:
