Promotions to Senior Patron

Hi Gregoshi,

Just want to put my name in the promotions line. No stress though. I've been enjoying the Entrance Hall http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/pat.gif

I hopped over there because the .com got fairly awful. Lots of flaming, then long discussions of the flame, that only fanned the flames. It got to the point where people were referring my game related questions to the org, so I cut out the middle man and joined.

Same reason for me, I found my way here via Respawn UK because Giskard is a teammate of mine from another game (Mechwarrior 4:Mercenaries). I had MTW for a while but failed to get into it because the strategic game was tough for me, but now that I have some clue what I'm doing I loaded up the game and am enjoying it now.

Seriously... you have to post. The Entrance hall is where you are evaluated on whether you can play nice or whether you will throw sand in our faces...

If your playing 3.09, did ya do it with a fresh full install? I've got about 4 different intstalls so far just to keep the different mods seperate and to be able to track the changes http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cg...ns/biggrin.gif

I think that I've been promoted to Senior Patron (at least that's what it says on my icon now), but I just tried to post to the tavern and got a you do not have permission to reply to that topic message. I'm not sure whether this is a function of my membership status, where I tried to post, or perhaps a random glitch. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cg...s/confused.gif

Senior Patrons cannot post to the Tavern. Fear not, your time as a SP is usually about a week long. You need not do anything special. It is simply a waiting period before letting you stir things up in the Tavern (a rather volitile place at times). In the meantime, you can post in the other forums. When you come to the Org, check your group level. Your promotion to Junior Member will not be announced. Once you are a JM you will have posting rights to the Tavern.

Hi there I'm quite a newbie as a member, although i 've been reading posts as a guest for a long time. I relly am curious about something, however: why can't i vote in polls.
