no problem, i shall look forward to it whenever it arrives, have a good Xmas.
thanks!
Maximus! I just wanted to compliment you on your mod. You did a great job. I've been playing "Fall of Rome" for the last week or so, and I've enjoyed it thoroughly. My favorite campaign so far has been playing the Western Romans in the "Twilight of the West" campaign.
I have particularly liked the Barbarian Invasion/Crusades. A huge stack of barbarians determinedly driving towards your richest provinces gets your attention in a hurry.
I was curious though about the stats for the various units. If you happen to have a list of the unit types and their stats, I'd love to take a look at it.
Thanks!
^Indeed. I have found that the path to victory lies in linking with the other Romans and bulking up your armies with whatever you can muster from the Empire. Mercenaries work wonders.
It's hard, but aside from the Goths, I'm doing alright. I suppose my campaigns in Byzantium five hundred years later were just preperation for the Twilight.
Thanks for your appreciation! Sorry but i haven't a list with the stats done with a spreadsheet o word.
but you can see the unit stats in the Crusader_unit_prod.txt file .....

I know. But Campania should be renamed to Latium (Campania is around Naples), Liguria to Lombardia, Liguria is in coast (I don't know name of this province in your mod but originally it is probably Genoa).Quote:

Sorry , I think within 15 days cause i'm involved in Middle Earth total War Mod.
anyway the patch will have the Aurelian campaign (270ad), a revisited 306ad campaign with a new roman faction and a 610ad campaign named "Heraclius the first Crusader".

great work
Any update on the patch's ETA?
*is interested too*
I love the mod but my area of interest for some time now has been the Byzantines and I have noticed some visual as well as naming errors. Not many though. First Byzantine spearmen were know as skutatos or Skutatoi, and had an oval shield (as the triangular shield did not show up for some time after the period portrayed in the mod), secondly byzantine infantry consisted almost entirely of spearmen, swordsmen were not that prevalent although many skutatoi did in fact carry a sword as a side arm, and I am very pleased that you gave them the pike they actually used rather then the short spear they are usually portrayed using. Another thing I would like to mention is that the byzantines, unlike other nations at the time had a uniform which they wore under their armour and it was red just like the people they came from...blue was also used sometimes but not often. Other then that the mod is great and Im sure those errors can be fixed easily enough, keep up the great work and I hope I have helped. Thank you for hearing me out. ~:)
Where can i download this mod from, and where are there any screenshots?
When is the next update?
And I would like to add that Skutatoi didn't have poor morale.
