Stw Mp

I sincerely hope that confusion over some bug that most of us don't have isn't deterring anyone from coming to play at Shambles server. I enjoyed some great games with Anskar and Cha yesterday, most notably a battle between the two of them, which I observed.

I shall be in Shambles Foyer for a good part of today. Right now it's 14:46GMT. I'll wait and look out for my fellow Shoggie enthusiasts for the next half hour or so and then I'll tend to some errands for and hour or so. Yet, I'm intent upon being logged in at Shambles Foyer all day long. Hope to see some of you there and I look forward to some great games!!! :charge: :charge: :charge:

Well I'm currently in the foyer and will be there for atleast about 22 GMT... ~;)

Very exciting battle yes! One of the most enjoyable I played so far. ~:)

In the end I lost more then I killed, but it went great. R'as was attacked by two and was having a hard time of course. I flanked Shin-GaiJin's army, and his gen got killed luckily, his men routed soon after that. Then I saw R'as gen. was killed too and he was routing. Paolino had a quite large army left. In the melee with Pao, both R'as and GaiJin came back with a few units. Pao killed much, but in the end my morale stood high and Pao's men routed. I had a hard time defeating his cav that came back, but we won and my gen survived as the only one.

The pic shows my YS that just won the melee and are chasing paolino.

Thanks for the great games, m8's. Mimesaka, and TenkiSoraroti were there too, and I hope 2v2's will be playing this saturday too. I don't know if I'll be there myself, but I hope others have some fun games.

I am now available for battle and will be for 2,5 hours. I am not in the foyer, so just PM me first.

Happy belated birthday Ducky!!! :bow: Now how is it that I missed these games??? :dizzy2: I was signed into Shambles server from roughly 11:00EST to 13:00EST and was AFK, but signed in, for a while after that. It looks as though I just missed Drisos, but I'm in the foyer right now. Hope to see someone there soon!!! :charge: :charge: :charge:

I was lurking but I think I forgot to be afk. So after a while, I instantly got kicked off the server and my name went grey.

Well finally had some time today but I can't log in to Shambles' fakeserver ... getting "Failed to Connect" so I guess the server is offline atm. Hopefully it will come online again soon. I'll check periodically.

I will make it fixed.


Ok fixed it it was Related to the No ip forwarding service,
But alls fine now.

Dang it ... Shambles' fakeserver appears to be offline again. I just tried but got the "Failed to Connect" message. Perhaps it is the IP forwarding utility that is hanging up again?

If you see this Shambles, please post when you've brought up the server again, as it would be a shame to miss out on games with the few who have rekindled their interest in STW MP recently. Thanks m8. Fun games earlier this morning (yes, I did finally manage to get some sleep; no more daytime naps for me if I can help it)!

i was out on the town, and server was offline when i got home,
I put it back up though n woorks now,

Congratulations Tamerlane! Good to see you in Sword Dojo. Only problem is that the fakeserver did not work when shambles tested it for STW original. I guess there are quite some people who'd like to play stw original with you, but if it doesn't work at the fakeserver, you should really try to get WE. That works and there are enough people playing it to get some games from time to time. ~:)

How is the Tiger Clan now? Have you got some recruits? And how's MTW MP? ~:)

Apparantly STW wont work on fake server if your using windows xp.

ive heard that people using windows 98 can play the origional STW on fake server,
But unfortunatly i cant Confirm this,
Prehaps some 1 els can,

Actually, I can confirm that the original STW, patched for 1.12 does indeed work on Shambles Fakeserver!!! :bow: I encountered Greywolf in the foyer yesterday and he told me that he only had the original STW. So, having never uninstalled the original STW, I swapped out the original's internetconfig file with the Shamble's file (simply copied from my WLE folder). I popped in my original STW CD and logged into Shamble's server without any difficulty whatsoever.

Greywolf and I played three brilliantly fun, completely lag free games. I hosted all three games, without any difficulties at all. Funny enough, not having played the original STW in lord knows how long, I had all of the game settings shut off. That's right, unlimited ammo, no morale, no fatigue and unrestricted camera. I had never had a chance to play the original STW MP, until yesterday. At first, I thought...wow...the MP game dynamic here is soooo different!!! Then I realized what had been going on and adjusted to the proper settings, providing a bang-up straight third game!!! :charge: :charge: :charge:

P.S.- I should add that all of this was accomplished with my having Windows XP, Service Pack 1. I've refused to upgrade to XP Service Pack 2, as I've read that it hinders playing either Shoggie or MTW.
