Cecil's turn.
Making a deep bow
It was a foregone conclusion for some time... I feel sorry for Didz who took the brunt of England's charge and will need time recovering...
Nevertheless, it is quite satisfying in that Ignoramus or anyone else for that matter give a much better fight than any AI...
As to William's fate, If I can get around to it, I would surely like to bribe him
I think Didz, owning only one province which is a city, should recover rather quickly, especially if you were to take the rebel settlements around him and then gift them all to him.
Of course you could also be evil and just take Edinburgh and thus the isles all for yourself...
Slightly sorry for Ignoramus being out of the game now, but eventually, there will only be very few players left if this is total war.
As for bribing William, why would you want to spend some 40-70k florins (depending on how many units he has with him) to bribe him and that other character with him into your faction? William has at most 6 or 7 turns left to live. It would of course be nice as a GA goal.
:jawdrop: The player who started the game was the first to go. This does not bode well for Venice in mine. :clown:
Yep, I meant it just for the fun of it...Quote:

I prefered a clearer message : cross me, you're doomed... Follow me, you're saved...
As to Didz, some help is on the way in the form of captured settlements and funds if possible...
Well, you could have said that it was a mercy and Scotland is excommunicated anyway. You still have time to finish what you are doing!!!
Sicily would stand behind France as long as my heir has a French princess to toy around with....
Btw, how's that crusade army of your's doing on the isles? Deserting en masse yet?
Not yet... Prince Louis has a firm hand and a change of men on Sicily helped keeping desertion out...
Scotland's excomm is not Didz's fault and he has no way to remedy it save for a papal short-circuit...
As to the princess, wait another two turns and she's all yours...
As to yours, last I saw her she was around Dijon and there's no inquisitor in the area or anywhere else in France... Might be a third party involved (a third party with knives... or snakes...)
No reason to let a crusade army desert if there's a town about to be conquered. I think Igno's fate was mostly determined by his trusting too much in the game mechanic and not enough in the players. The game hasn't turned out anything like I expected as the players with the most powerful nations aren't being bullies at all (Err, fair warning, if I was Germany the Danes and Poles wouldn't be long for the world). It's a bit odd to me to have all this time to expand effectively at peace.
:egypt:
I meant to do the same and I have taken only rebel settlements ( and Igno's ones...of course...)Quote:

As for mine...the family tree says "Executed". That would mean inquisitor or some (human) faction wantonly stomping on her...either way. Anyone having hints on it will be rewarded and the culprit shall suffer terribly.
I'm actually not sure whether it can be an inquisitor. Agents (including princesses but not priests) all get an auto 10 piety meaning they are pretty much immune. Add to that she had 7 charm, so an assassin would have no chance.
So...who stomped on her? huh? who?
[edit]
I finished my turn and contemplating whether to play Didz's and Bob's together in one go now. They are still away for a while right?
Didz seems to be checking the forum but not sure if he's able to play.
Constance just gained another star this turn... The longer you wait, the better she'll be....
And I have also turned down some cool marriage proposals for her...
Moved Scotland and Russia as they are unable:

Denmark's turn now.
If you could tell me what you did FH I'd appreciate it.

Poland's turn
We have a problem gentlemen. When I end my turn I can see it scroll through the faction shields and when it gets to the rebels it simply halts. You can see France's shield is next, but it won't scroll to it or bring up a password screen.
That's the position England would normally occupy. I have no idea what to do. I hope there's a resolution. I uploaded two saves, one before I hit end turn (I'd prefer you not look around, but  no biggie) and one right at the rebel shield pause:

:egypt:
Ugh.
I'll have a look.
This certainly doesn't sound good at all.
I'll upload and try the 1106 one first then the other one if there is any problem...
With a promise to make a quick scroll out of harm's way...
Well, I don't have your password so I cannot load up your end turn game.
As for the 1108 game, it loads fine for me. Sends me to England's login screen.
I suppose I'll ask econ for the password and see what happens when logging in. Hopefully it lets us skip it then.
I've tried the 1106 save and it shows England's login screen as I don't have Igno's PW, I'm blocked maybe Econ could give that PW
EDIT : FH beat me to it...
I would prefer Econ sends me the PW...
I asked econ and got it.
Uploading save as we speak. Will PM Tristan.
When I logged in as England, I saw a part of France revealed for some reason, but everything indicated England was wiped out (including college of cardinals and agent/settlements screens)
Seems strange when I entered Igno's PW i didn't see any part of France but rather Poland under FoW (which would seem logical as it was Ramses that played last turn...)
Anyway the save works and I will play as soon as possible
Whew! :2thumbsup:
I was quite worried, let me tell you. I let it sit on the rebel shield for a full five minutes before I saved and bailed.
:egypt:
I was crossing my fingers the whole time when I opened the save...
It didn't want it to finish like this...
Well, so can I expect to play Ichigo's turn in the next hour or two?
I rather meant to play it tomorrow... Tonight is for the lady...
Spoken like a true Frenchman :grin2:
Hope you have fun.
That's an interesting way of labelling
I'll upload Spain's shortly.
