Very, very nice!!
I have one question, are they actually boar-men or men wearing severed boar heads/masks?

the idea is they are big masks designed to scare the enemy. They're made of bits of various animals, skins, bones etc to get the effect.
here are the eagle archers:

again great units hoggy,
too bad you will not be able to use them in custum battle :(
anyway great work!
a modder can always mod them into custom battle, awesome work hoggy! ~
Thanks for clearing that up Hoggy :D
Anywayz they are good! Real good!
Good Job as usual. ~
They look great. :]
I think it's a good concept too, as there were a lot of animal totem worshiping tribes back in the day in Asia.
Yep, absolutely fantastic.
Incomprehensibly so, actually.
I can understand how somone (not me, but someone of your skill) could make beautiful models quickly, given time. I do not understand how you make such jaw-dropping textures and fit them onto the model perfectly inm such a short time.
Your genius remains unsurpassed
actually these rebels are a little easier because i only hae to do the head and new weapons. here are the Rebel Bear warriors:

Hoggy your to modest! ~
very ferocious! very dangurous! and ouh, the axes! oh dear, great work! but i still feel that the rebel units have over-sized heads . . . i dont think real bears had heads that huge . .. (then again, the eagles . .) but they dont seem to be the same size as the ones in the army lists, is this a problem? can you fix this? it's kinda funny, it doesnt seem like the bodies can hold the head up . . . oh well, ~
I really like these rebels. They look rather savage. It will be enjoyable to crush them as well as to eventually lead them to victory.
You should give them the barbarian yell ability.
Gotta love the flying (dare i say ninja) bearman in the front
i have a random question. about the monk masters ... . how are you gona implement them without being over balanceing? i suggest the in campaign the monk masters dont cost a thing (would they be a monk if they did? ) but take a hell of a long time to train (masters take time) like 6 turns. and the custom will have them very high priced. or do you already have a plan? ~
Thats the whole point. The monks are to be the final climactic battle. Therefore they should be very very powerful despite being few in number. I think the masters should be able to take on several enemy units at once.
I don't think real monks could shoot flaming lotus blossoms out of their staffs either, nor were real Mongols being overrun by hordes of demons from the bowels of the Abyss... right?Quote:

the monks should be powerful yes, but not overbalencing, think about multiplayer! :charge:
I like the big heads... Gives it a more totemistic feel.
::Claps for Hoggy::
And the Monks are kinda supposed to be overbalancing..that's the whole point of the game.

and yes I think they should be powerfull and I also think they should be verry expensive in multiplayer, cheap but long to train in single player (5-7 turns?)
and ofcourse how could I forget,
damn great units!
~
they arnt masks . ... they are head gear! ~;)
:dizzy2: owkay....
If those are the interesting rebels, will we not be able to play them in custom etc? It would be a shame not to.
it is easily moddable. ~
In multiplayer they can have a high price, but they dont need to be balanced for the single player.Quote:
