Really? I am refering to forum definition, because I get plenty of unwanted emails ~;). I think you'll find that most forums define it as posting which does not directly enable a reply, which so far I haven't done.

The forum defintion is about whether a post contribute to the topic, if it gives any meaning etc. etc.
If the purpose of the post/topic is to increase postcount then it`s spam..
