You blink a few times, desperately trying to clear your vision, which is clouded over.
Nothing seems to be working, so you take a deep breath and exhale harshly.
The haze seems to lift itself from you, or rather it swirls away from you. You watch it swirl... dust.... it twists away from you, slowly, beams of light giving a dreamlike dancing appearance to the small particles, floating... tumbling....
Your sense of hearing kicks back in... slowly...
The subsonic noises and beat of time cues you in, a gentle 4/4 beat.
One and...
Two and...
Three and...
Four and...
and so on.
Until it fades from your consciousness, and something else replaces it, the sound of gentile scratching on wood, of shuffling... of besieged moans, carrying with them the true depths of depravity.
Lower pitches, then higher ones, though soft, there is little other noise to compete with it.
You clench your hands, balling them up into fists, and raise them up above you. You see your hands, and they move, though they are numb, and sluggish to respond. You uncurl them and reach outwards, towards the dust particles.
Your fingers look as you remember them, and you practice making fists.
You flick your finger outwards, scattering the dust further.
You follow it as it dances about your peripheral vision, to the left.
To your right is a wall, and a window, slightly ajar, with a gentile breeze rolling in, judging by the light it is dusk.
Above you is the ceiling, you are lying horizontally apparently, there is a large hole in it, that goes through the roof.
To your left is a disheveled room.
Two knocked over dressers, an end table with it's contents scattered about it and the floor surrounding it.
A television with a baseball bat through it, and a computer monitor, oddly intact, staring at you.
You sit up, to further examine the room, but there is not much else.
Through the doorway, to the hallway, you see several bags, and some items strewn about.
Your face hurts, your whole head hurts, you grab it while leaning forward.
The headache passes and you scoot forward on the bed, and seat yourself on the edge of it.
You are now sitting on the edge of the bed... facing the doorway.
What do you do, where do you go?

Im trying to establish if we are back in the dream and therefore in our house.... Those bags should contain all the stuff we use to have.

In the secondary pouch you find a strange assortment of flavored dental dams.
You scratch you head, wondering what the :daisy: you could've possibly been doing with all of this junk in one night.
Whatever it was, you're almost sad you missed it, it appears to have been a great time, judging by what you were bringing...
What do you do now?
(For the record, no Chaotix, this is not based completely off my own messenger bag's contents, I only have one flavor of dental dams :laugh4:)
Pick up the "Foxhound" bag, and then look around to see what's in the area.

Drop the wooden baseball bat and pick up the metal bat, the small sword and the tool belt, using the tool belt as a holder for the sword and bat, pick up the entire other bag (so now you have both)
In the foxhound bag ditch the magazines breifly lookin at what they are before dropping them... Add the 13 inch knife to your tool belt along with the tools (hammer, piliers etc)
Go into the kitchen and look around.... Hold the 13inch knife or small sword depending on what seems better in close combat enviroment... Be on guard at all times.
So it looks like we are back in the dream world.... now some zombie killing lol. We should try find some rounds for the gun, perhaps parents room..... But we'll have a look in the kitchen first at the very least we can fill up our emergency flask there at the tap.

You inch your way into the kitchen, prepared for any immediate threats, but much to your dismay it is empty.
Looking around, there is not much of use here, a sink, refrigerator, stove, iron, mop, broom, pantry, and a closet with the door knocked off of it.
A small table is in the center of the room, with a few packs of cigarettes on it, some empty newport containers, and a large carton of Parliament lights.
Aside from that, the table is bare.
The counter holds nothing either, the cabinets are smashed and a mess, likely nothing but junk inside.
The pantry is closed, and you cannot see inside.
What do you do now?
Who wants to bet our friend from the unopened storage pod lurks in the pantry?

No I believe we are the original player again (cant remember if that was lil sis or big sis lol) But something has happened to the place while we were in the other reality as it wasnt this torn up when we left....
Open fridge and pantry look at whats there.... Fill emergency flask with water from sink unless its already full... If full take a small sip to tell what it is.... Be on guard.

Ok well that kills the idea of getting food lol.... Should we replace the jack daniels I know that a horrible thing to say lol but water might be more needed in this situation... Then again we could use the jack to clean any wounds...
Im gonna do a quick little harmless order..
Take a look out of the nearest window.... Be on alert...

You look around and see no crawlers or shufflers around, they are all on opposite sides of fences, your backyard appears to be devoid of life right now.
You also see the garage, it is long and takes up the whole back wall of the backyard, inside it is where your landlord keeps his power tools, things to work on cars with, and junk he can't keep in his house, there is also a barbecue next to it, and there would likely be gasoline and flammable materials inside for the grill, you make a note of this in your head.
You turn around and are standing in the middle of the kitchen.
What do you do now?

BTW: This story was much more difficult to get into then the other two games like this. I read the first part of the story with all the zombies and such and than read the last part and was thinking: 'What the :daisy: are those two joggers circling the lake like nothing has happened, or are there some freaky zombie-joggers in this game. :stunned: :laugh4:

I saw before we go out side we should look for ammo... It seems odd that we have a gun yet dont have ammo... And since we had a hand gun magazine Im assuming the gun is ours and not our parents so the ammo must be in our room somewhere....

You need to get that ammo... the fastest way would be to go through your landlord's house, to the backdoor, to the backyard, to the garage, but you wonder, if so much has changed since you last remember, maybe something else is down there? You need to think this through...
