Can we have a tally of all the light sources in the living room? I have a sneaking suspicion I know what the grandfather chimes at the beginning of the write ups are now - the demon's strength. Not sure what the digital clock means though :\.
Also, please people, gather up - if your not in a room with everyone else, your almost certain to die at this point.

WE, your not just endangering yourself, your endangering the people your not in a room with. If we do not bunch up and start helping each other, then we WILL die. We've just shown it's an effective strategy, and it has bought us sometime - now PLEASE, help us!

Apologies for not posting much Pizza; with it being a Sunday and such, using it as a day off to get 100% on RDR. :laugh4:

Bah, got to 99.1% and now all that's left to do on the game is sit around and wait for bounty missions to be posted up, check if it's one I've done, if so, move to another town and check there instead; really can't be bothered.
White_Eyes:D, why the pessimistic attitude? "I'm going to be the first to die" and "I'm going to head to the Parlour to die" isn't really constructive playing; what's changed to bring on such an attitude? We need all the light we can get, and if you've got some light-bearing sources with you, you're of greater use to yourself and to the rest of us than you think.

Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
I already talked with Pizzaguy over what I can do....and I am not impressed....here are our options.:book:
1.We can keep hiding in rooms making as much light as possible, till we are killed.:candle:
2.I can keep running around solo, till I get killed...being in the darkest place is going to help with that.:hide:
I hate both of them....

Believe me when I say "I have not given up". But Pizzaguy is making this HARD....and we need better clues for those of us who can't mind-read:brood:
I have gone over every option....and they all lead to only one survivor...if they don't get killed as well....unless someone comes up with a good lead soon, we are all going to die..(I have tried everything I could think of, and Pizzaguy was impressed but it was too game breaking to try it.....that makes me sad~:mecry:)

I presented this theory to ATPG and he laughed, so I think that means that it's right.
This whole fiasco is in our minds, and the only way to win, is to lynch ourselves, therefor freeing ourselves from the dream state.
Any takers?

o_____O...
Can we not contemplate suicidal actions? In fact, forward with actions, as there is literally nothing happing this phase. Vote: Move - if you are not in a room with everyone else, GET THERE NOW.
Living Room and Parlor are good places.
We do not have to die if we actually start working together and lynch - or you can be WE.

Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Do we have a plan that extends beyond "huddle together and wait for the demon to overpower us"?
It strikes me that yet another day spent moving about the place, rather than lynching potential badguys, is playing into the beast's hands (claws?). After all, our host says that this can be played like a normal mafia game, and normal mafia games are won by lynching the bad guys. A game where the town continually pass up the opportunity to lynch is one that the mafia will find it rather too easy to win. So...
vote: Captain Blackadder
Aside from being the demon's favourite puppet, I notice he's the one person still alive who's posted less than me. I'm still suspicious of YLC and Diana, but I've realised that it's rather hypocritical to call for them to be lynched, given that I've complained in the past about quiet people being given an easy ride. :embarassed:

Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
To the earlier question how much light source we have; I have 2 lamps and some candles.
Finally, we will start to lynch someone, I've said this before, this is a mafia game, so we need to start lynching. Vote: Lynch- Captain Blackadder
Does anyone else get the feeling, that this so called, million dollar mission, we are on, really doesn't exists, it is just a ruse, and this game is only to solve the mystery, lynch the bad guy, and survive. Like a regular mafia game. I don't know for sure, just a gut feeling.

Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
I can't help but wonder what good it will do for us to present the light sources in public. How does that matter to us, and won't it help the demon more, to know exactly what it has to overcome?
I'm with the lynch-happy crowd though, we need to start whittling down the list of suspects. And I'll follow Winston in putting my money where my mouth is and lynch an inactive: vote: Captain Blackadder

Re: Murder Manor III- Game thread
Vote Blackadder
Allright I was about to post that I am possibly not going to be on for the next two days so lynch away please.
The ten survivors finally had enough.... and decided that one among them was masquerading as an innocent victim, but was really an inhuman monster. Several of them stepped forward and accused the one known as....
Winston Hughes stepped forward and roared "Let's get him! He's obviously guilty!"
Diana Abnoba concurred. "That's what I've been saying! Why is he even still alive? GOSH!!!"
Niklas stamped his feet and harrumphed. "Time to start killing people...." he muttered. "Killing people is good. It leads to good things. So yes, I'm also in favor of that particular course of action."
Captain Blackadder stood up and shouted in agreement. "GOOD IDEA!!! LET'S GET HIM!!!"
YLC protested a little bit and suggested "I dunno guys. I think we should move and make ourselves nice and safe from, you know, the demon and stuff."
Captain Blackadder turned and looked at him with a puzzled expression. "Why on Earth would we do something as sensible as THAT?"
YLC stared back, a bit flabbergasted. He had no rebuttal.
Captain Blackadder continued. "Come on, gentlemen! Ladies! It's time to kill me, so come and kill me, wheeeeeee!!!"
Captain Blackadder grabbed a chair and placed it in the center of the parlor, and grabbed a power cord and cut it in half, and then began tying his own arms down to the chair. Within just a few moments, he was stuck in the chair, with his arms tied tightly to the armrests. "How did he do that?" YLC asked cautiously. "I am not entirely sure..." White_Eyes commented. TheFlax's lifeless head raised up, and said "Hey! That makes no sense!" and then fell back down, just as lifelessly. Captain Blackadder just whistled cheerfully. "So, how are we going to do this? Wait, wait, I know! Do an exorcism on me, that will be fun!"
Methos shrugged and decided to perform an exorcism, just to see if that did anything. "Can I have a volunteer for the egg-throwing?"
White_Eyes stepped forward and grinned maliciously. "I think you know that I'd be interested in participating in such."
Methos looked around and asked if anyone would like to splash Blackadder with holy water. Secura raised her hand. "I'm not a big fan of payback, but if it is just water, then sure."
They all stood around Captain Blackadder and began chanting in Latin. Captain Blackadder just grinned.
Methos snapped his fingers, and Secura came charging into the room, and dumped a bucket of liquid all over Captain Blackadder. Captain Blackadder started laughing.
Methos looked at her puzzlingly. "What was that?"
"All I could find was some leftover motor oil in the lawnmower." Secura said.
"What about the sink? Doesn't water come out of that?" Methos noted.
"Oh yeah. That might have worked." Secura said. "My bad."
"Okay, hit him with the eggs!"
White_Eyes stepped forward and began pelting Captain Blackadder with the eggs. Unfortunately, these eggs were rotten and smelled absolutely terrible. They were black and green on the inside. Blackadder just kept on smiling. But White_Eyes wasn't done. "Open up, Cap'n!" Captain Blackadder opened his mouth, and White_Eyes began stuffing the eggs inside his mouth. Blackadder started gagging, but took it like a trooper. Then, White Eyes took one of the chairs and smashed Blackadder over the back of the head with it, causing him to bite down on the rotten eggs. Somehow, through all the gagging and choking and bleeding, Blackadder still was giggling and shaking with laughter.
"He's not dead yet. I also don't think that any of this would do anything against a demon." White_Eyes said.
"Very well.... what do you suggest?" Methos said.
White_Eyes took out a large blade and sat on Captain Blackadder's lap, facing him. Then he forced Blackadder's head back, exposing his neck. "I promise I'll make it quick!" White_Eyes said. He began to saw through Captain Blackadder's neck, although not very well.
"Whoops, sorry about that." White_Eyes said, as he ended up slipping and cutting Blackadder's jaw instead. "Just a few more inches and you'll be dead, shhh."
Blackadder started screaming in pain, while gagging on the eggs and blood.
"Oh, sorry, that's your collar bone. I'm trying to aim for your jugular vein, quit squirming."
Blackadder started trying to butt heads with White_Eyes, which made White_Eyes a little frustrated, so he punched Blackadder in the nose. But then the chair's legs broke and the two men fell over. White_Eyes landed on his back and Blackadder and the chair landed on top of him, with Blackadder bleeding all over the place and squirming. White_Eyes was trapped.
"Help! Help! He's got me pinned!" White_Eyes pleaded.
The other rolled their eyes and helped get Blackadder off of White_Eyes. "See? He's dangerous. Lucky you had me around to finish him off, he might have hurt someone!" White_Eyes said.
Blackadder started laughing again. "Heh, you can't even kill a man who is tied down and wants to die!"
White_Eyes looked at him with evil eyes, and started storming towards Blackadder. He grabbed another chair and was about to bust Blackadder upside the head with it, but Blackadder ducked, and White_Eyes overextended and fell forward, landing on the ground.
"I meant to do that!" White_Eyes proclaimed.
Blackadder just laughed and laughed. "You've made my final moments very enjoyable, sir. Thank you."
"Glad to be of service" White_Eyes said, sheepishly.
"Oh, for the love of biscuits..." atheotes walked over, grabbed the blade White_Eyes dropped, and decapitated Captain Blackadder in a single swing.
"Good job, my friend! You'll clearly be as good as me one day." said White_Eyes.
Then White_Eyes looked toward the computer screen and addressed the game host. "Hey, didn't you basically steal that joke from the Daggers in the Night game?"
"Yes. But I rather enjoyed it, and felt it would bear repeating." Askthepizzaguy said, as he quickly scurried behind the fourth wall from whence he came.
The nine survivors retreated to their respective rooms for the night.
White_Eyes had a bad feeling about this. "Oh, I can feel it.... I know I'm going to die... I know I'm going to die.... woe is me. Woe is me. I have no chance of escape. It's totally hopeless. I tried to tell them all, but they wouldn't listen to me. I told them it was pointless to even keep trying. The most logical move was to give up. Surrender is a perfectly acceptable alternative in extreme circumstances. The demon may be gracious enough...."
Before he could finish, the grandfather clock in the dining room began to chime. THIRTEEN times it chimed. The hands on the clock began to spin counter-clockwise.... and continued to spin until the numbers on the clock began to glow. Soon after that, all the numbers on the clock fell off except for the 1 and the 3. The hands on the clock stopped on those numbers. The pendulum at the bottom of the clock stopped swinging.
You have until 23:59 (11:59PM) June 10th (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) to place your vote for either the LYNCH or to MOVE to a different room. That is approximately 46 hours from now.
You cannot both lynch and move in one day, so you may only choose to do one with your vote.
You may interact with the room during the day phase.
If you are going to MOVE, I will need to know where by the end of the DAY phase. I realize that it causes problems for me due to the game mechanics if the day phases creep over into the night phase. So please, send me your movements before Day is over.
You did not move or exchange items last round, so your room description and inventory remains the same.
