You only have to read the first post of the buglist in the citadel subforum. That contains roughly 90% of the bugs. :grin2:
Bring some time and coffee along when you do

Yes I know FH, but I want the exec summary from the Bug Master.
Give me the top 5 most impactful bugs at the moment?
Quite subjective, but here goes: (Only includes bugs that cannot be fixed via modding)
-Passive AI (Strat and Battle)
-Retraining/Training bug
-Diplomatic status not updated when faction destroyed
-Ridiculous siege attack AI
-Inheritance mechanics
Of course there's a few more which don't make the top5, such as router chasing (especially in siege battles) and night battle retreat / loop bug.
Thanks FH.
Does your signature say your in Shanghai China!!??
Because if it does, then I'M IN Shanghai China right now.
Yup.
Your business certainly takes you around the globe AG!
You're correct there.
It's nuts right now though.
Eh, I think it's better to wait until KotR is finished, before starting a new one. That said, the interested could get together and begin debatting/arguing about the rules.
Yeah I'd be more interested in a Kingdoms PBM - It would be interesting role playing as a conquistadorQuote:

I think what FactionHeir meant was for us to do some basic groundwork for another PBM, so that when KotR is finished, we won't have to wait weeks to get it properly organised.
No offense to anyone else here, but I like how econ runs games. So, I'm going to wait and see what he is going to do after this. Also, there still seems to be plenty of life in this one. There is just deadtime when were waiting for battles which is fine for me because school just started back up.
hi all
We have a new player who would like to join us. Her login name is EternalOlympia. She is a friend of mine who has a lot of RP experience but knows very little about TW games in general. I have told her about KotR and the fun it is, and she wanted to join even though she does not actually own Medieval, and has no interest in commanding armies, etc.
We talked and thought the best place for her would be as the serving girl in the Tavern, since that is all RP and has nothing to do with the generals, etc.
If anyone has objections, please make them known!
edit: and apparently she has already been PMing players, oh dear
Cheers
Tamur
And I thought it was one of TC's alt accs.
edit: because of a PM
Ah, ok. I was wondering who that was. I prefer that everyone at least be an elector since that seems to be the rules of the game. Just have her be an elector of a house. She can vote, post in the Diet and other threads, and make a character. And it will keep her out of the battles and such. Also, it keeps everyone involved in the power structure of the game. If she is a free-floating character, there is no effective way to punish or reward her. And that may cause complications in the Tavern because while there is no banning, the possibility of political consequences adds to the experience in my opinion.
But, if econ says its cool, then its cool.
*edit*
A serving wench who decided to get involved in politics. Boy that has story possibilities. :laugh4:
EternalOlympia,
welcome. You're about to enter quite a world here.
Good to have a member of the opposite sex represented.
Maybe it will civilise us all a little.

We'll see how robust the lady is before Arnold decides that marriage to a serving girls is what he wants.
EO, I hope you have a thick skin. The "civilisation" process might take some time :2thumbsup:
Technically, no one is in the game until Econ says their in. So, the anal-retentive side of me would prefer if she hold off on posting IC until he says something. But the slightly more reasonable side of me is willing to be patient until he says something. :laugh4:
BTW, Hi EO!
I'm sure the assistant mod / mod relationship will ensure her addition is not a problem PK.
Still, it will not be long before Econ drops in.
Oh I doubt it will be a problem. I'm just being me. :beam:
I wouldn't see why people would need approval before officially joining unless they request a specific avatar. Afterall KOTR is listed as needing more players.
But there is one thing that is good about your comment: It will make econ post instead of mod-lurk

I'm sure if EO isn't looking for an avatar she can play the role she has chosen. It's outside the box we know but that's why I appreciate what she has done.
FH: I guess it was more because I think everyone should at least be an elector. But, if I recall, there was a period of time in the beginning of the game when some people were just playing agents and were not electors so there is certainly precedence for what EO wants to do. So, the other posts were just me airing my opinions which Tamur specifically asked for. :beam:
AG: Well, since all I can be is me, its more than just self-deprecating humor though it is certainly that as well. ^_^
Welcome EO, I see no need for her to be "involved" with a house. The Tavern is a perfect forum to be involved with the role play only. Stonecold adds his observations in the thread and his comments welcomed without being an elector. I think the Tavern created a perfect location for anyone contributing without the politics of the house.
That is me saying we don't have to regulate everything and everyone. Any ORG member is welcomed to the PBEM if they are adding to the fun of the role playing.
Welcome EternalOlympia.
There are various options for participating in the game without having to fight battles. The idea of taking on a persona in the Tavern is an interesting one - that thread is a fairly new area of the PBM and could use some extra TLC to make sure it takes root. If you do want to go that way, I think you should have a vote in the Diet but not necessarily be tied to a House. The vote could represent some minor Electors in the Diet, who may be swayed by listening to Diet debates and arguments in the Tavern. We might also think about some way of making it possible for you to gain influence (extra votes).
An alternative idea would be to role-play one of the women in the family tree and also control her husband when/if she marries. This is what TrickyLady did in the King of the Romans PBM. Tamur could fight any of the husband's battles. This would slot you into the existing PBM structure more easily and might also give you more connection with the various inter and intra-House intrigues; and allow you to post in the Diet. At the moment, we have a Kordula Steffen, unmarried 31, who has two very interesting brothers. And we have a unmarried 21 year old Meinberg von Salza. To try to dovetail this idea and the original one, perhaps the woman you choose could own the Tavern?
Let me know what you think.
True, but SC doesn't interact IC at all. He only posts in here.
Whats funny is, when I conceived of the Tavern thread, I never thought that it would draw in people who just want to play in that. I guess thats another good reason to have the thread. I was thinking of it only as a place for the avatars to interact IC in a more relaxed enviroment. I never even thought that people would be drawn to it exclusively. But hey, can't argue with success. :2thumbsup:
*edit*
This was written before Econ's post was up so I didn't see it.

Seems all good to me.
OP can get involved to varying degree's. Lets see what she says.
