Hi folks, long time lurker but I'm bored so I'd figure I'd introduce myself. My name is Zach, I'm 20 years old and I'm in my third year of college, going for my BA in Anthropology with a minor in History. Let's see...I live in a miserable little town about thirty miles from Rochester New York and the current weather is a combination of snow, sleet, freezing rain and kind of an amalgam of those three.
Rochester has the highest homicide per capita in the United States (We're number one!)
My interests include: Gaming, reading, thinking, controlled substances, schoolwork, commenting on how strange the weather is in this part of the world and metal work. I've been with my ladyfriend for a little over a year, and while she doe not understand my obsession with EB, she has learned to accept it, and likes to read on the couch behind me while I play my Saka campaign, as she likes the strat map music.
*finds a place to sit in an uninhabited area of the tavern, pours a nip of Dewars into his steaming Thermos of coffee and watches the goings on with an eye out for anything remotely interesting.*

flibjib, if you were looking for something remotely interesting, you just missed it. XD Look back a few pages (starting page 41/42 I think) for the whole Rhomphaia controversy, which is the most interesting thing that's happened in the Tavern since Admetos proposed to Horst in a drunken stupor.

Incidentally, did you know that since about 5 years ago I've been making like Mithridates and consuming all sorts of poisons and intoxicants and drugs to make myself immune to them? It's amazing how cool that is. A cobra could bite me and I'd still be alive, now.

I am a beer snob. I very wish want to become a scotch snob. I usually buy 12 year Glenlivet, but today I bought 12 year Tomatin. It's half the price of Glenlivet, so even though I like it very much, I must turn my nose away from it because if it's half as expensive, it can only be half as good.

If that´s the case, then I´d just like to inform that intaking of ink is not lethal and can only cause some slight problems, such as throw-ups and the like, nothing truly serious. As such, I never actaully even came close to killing you, just temporarily neutralising you so that you could consider your actions. It seems it did not work, si I´ll just call for Tacitus instead. After all, we don´t want any violence in the Tavern.

As for all this lead laying around, I suppose it is time I let everyone know that the reason all firearms seem useless in the Tavern is b/c all the drinks are tainted with a *ahem* potion that makes lead/firearms/all non-period weapons more or less useless in the tavern - the potion only has a temporary effect.
It is, after all, what I do.
Finally, the Squire has arrived. How about something a little special in Alexanders drink to stop him from embarassing himself by trying to do a Bruce Lee on me but only managing to somehow kick himself in the neck. His embarassing behaviour is somewhat dampering the mood in the Tavern.
Oh, and just so you know Alex Max, there´s a 1 drink per minute rule here, so joining a AA group won´t help you, you´ll still have to drink.
