How Much do you Want Empire: Total War?

the game that i couldn't wait for was RTW... and upon release it turn out to be crap/bug heaven/imb/broken....:wall:

So yes I can wait for ETW...AND CA PLZ dont rush this one....let us have an open beta test PLZ! :embarassed:

Personally, I was a little disappointed when CA anounced Empires but since then the idea has kind of grown on me. However, the only upgrade I will be willing to do is a new video card (which I already did to play M2TW), I see all these new add-ons to the game and am a little intimidated that its going to require a super computer to run. I too, will wait until six months to a year to buy the game waiting on the first patch. I feel kind of bad, not rewarding CA for making a good game by buying it right away, but I am really enjoying M2TW right now and am in no hurry.

Whatever protection software is on the game won't really be a factor for me, I figure that I pick up tons of stuff off the internet, so one more thing won't really matter. I'm not a computer whiz, so I don't know all the details, but I have been playing Kingdoms for about a year now and havn't noticed any problems.

I am very excited about ETW. I love the era and the opportunity to finally play out tactical sea battles within the context of an empire building game.

However... based on the condition of RTW and MTW2 when they were released, especially with respect to the incredibly mediocre AI, I am definitely going to sit on the fence for a loooong time until ETW is patched and modded to acceptable levels.

I'm still hoping it's the greatest thing since sliced bread... :thumbsup:

Not really excited about it at all ill probably try it tho as i do enjoy totalwar single player on the odd occasion, but i wont expect to be playing it online cause i know its going to suck mp. the single player campaign may offer some entertainment ill have to wait and see. Id be more exited about a rome era mod for mtw2 but seems none are in development.

There is a Roman mod being made for M2TW. It's called Europa Barbarorum 2 and there is a forum for it in The Guild. Unfortunately it looks like it wont be ready for awhile. :wall:

Well....I REALLY Want this game lol. Big time! I always Wanted a total War game with Guns, and Love the whole 18th century thing to! If I had the money....Yes I would probably Upgrade my PC lol. Though Im hoping I wont have to!:egypt:
