Re: Happy Ramaðan!
There was something I've been wanting to make sure about, are you allowed to brush your teeth in the morning when fasting as long as you try your best not to swallow anything or do you have to use a
Miswak?
Hmm...I think I'll have Burger King today, no more traditional meals for me.

I also did not know much about the Ramadan, i have only heard about it. Thanks for the info
To all the followers of the Prophet Muhammad: Happy and peaceful Ramadan!

Re: Happy Ramaðan!
Fahad I,
It shouldn't be. You're doing a cleaning there, something the Prophet himself advises as "the source of faith". You've got no intention to satisfy your humanly needs.
What would you benefit from swallowing tooth paste anyway? ^^
Bah, Misvak? Do they still use these?

Re: Happy Ramaðan!
.
Wikipedia article (the quoted paragraph) is lacking. In addition to eating and drinking, sexual intercourse (including manual stuff :laugh4:) is forbidden between sundawn and sunset too.
Accidental intake or forgetfulness won't break your fast, ie you may have forgotten that you're fasting (it does happen) and happen to eat or drink something. You have to cease at the moment you remember though.
