lol, I will give you that. I generally find the Center a little too rough, which is why I mostly post here. I know that there are lots of good, serious, intelligent, and cleanmouthed posters on the Center, but there are also tons and tons of noobs constantly swearing and insulting people and not seriously debating at all, just insulting. When I am feeling kinda p*ss*ed though and I want to let off, that is when I go to the Center. :P It is nice to have both.

I have broadband, and I still use the Dial Up skin. I come from a usenet background though, which uses plain text, so I'm used to a minimalist GUI. That said, I'm also used to an interface with lots of user-defined functions, which vBulletin lacks, but I suppose that's the nature of web forums.

I think you Org's should be afraid of us TWCers actually;) We have our nice badges and our beloved REP.

I doubt that it was Miraj who shut down TWC. It must have been an Orgah to start the Org's secret mission, Operation Brain Drain.

TWC...hmm I'm a member there, but it went through some stuff a few years back and I think I got myself banned for protesting some outrageous things the admins were doing.

IMO the layout of TWC is too confusing, the scheme just clashed and it was impossible to tell who is of what rank! I just saw all these maces and ranks that meant nothing to me.

Here its easy, member group is written, moderators are in green, admins in red. Creative Assembly members in purple. Easy!

Anyway, the ranks, the Curia and such are the reason I mainly like TWC. Not that this place is bad, I like this place too (I like TWC moderation a lot better though).

Many got banned - myself included - for less than satisfactory reasons, but that TWC administration is nowhere near the current, I assure you. The guys who were 'battling' those guys became the new Administration.

The colors here are a bit hard to see (I have to search thoroughly to see the CA members).

But to TWC being down, I think this new server is doing more bad than good. I also heard Garb spent some of the money on a vacation, but y'know rumours. :dizzy2:

Look on the brightside, at least when one forum is down you have another to go to so you can get your demo and empire total war fix :2thumbsup:

I had trouble there too (with the admins). It is a nice place though, I just think the Org is a bit easier and friendlier of an environment.

It's just because of the amount of spammy members, it's a very nice place despite that though.

Yep, I agree to an extent. It's much more tranquile here, more peaceful. One look in the Political Mudpit at TWC gives you a headache :dizzy2:. I also like the junior member thing the .Org has, it's good at nipping spam accounts in the bud. :yes:

Hehe ya this is Code_Knight from TWC, and I also can't connect to it. There are several possibilities, two of which are:

The website is down again
or
Sim and GED are updating the hosting server

site was down at least 5-6 times this week - if they just updating server, i think they would already finish...

Posting behavior is better here at the ORG, maybe Ill move all my screenshots over here.

Yeah, so far i'ts been a bumpy ride with the new server, but as posted before better now than when Empire is released.

for me personally, i dont care about Empire - yes, i will play it, but its still about month till it will be available, then about few months until it will be modable - until then i plan to continue working on some mods/campaigns etc... (and btw, i already preordered the game)
