Oh yeah, Courland is like a little pit-bull. Just point them in the enemy's direction and watch the mayhem. Unfortunately, they tend to attack EVERYTHING, including your allies, which is not a good thing diplomatically.
.........Sweden wiped out your little 'Pitbull' in 6 turns total.
What is your Favorite faction?
It is rather hard to pick a favorite. Each patch changes the game so much that they never play the same.
I am still discovering all the new units.
At the moment the Dutch have some nice ones. I liked them better than the Prussians, particularly in the late game once you are all teched up.
I have not tried Spain yet with 1.3 as it is usually a very long time before you have the clout to do much with armies.
I liked Austria in 1.1
In 1.2 everything played pretty much alike so far as units and combat and all you did was struggle for every last cent. Something I am still trying to get over in my play now.
In 1.3.1 I am less than halfway through the lineup.
I like Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth
Currently playing a Game as Sweden using Imperial Splendour Probably the funnest game I've played, although I just can't help but think there is something Romantic about a Serenade of Russian Cannons.
Austria for their amazing light infantry. The fire support they provide has proven invaluable and has saved my army's butt on many occasions.
The UP for their unique starting position. They are the ONLY faction to start off with provinces in all 3 theatres.
And lastly, Sweden for it's challenging campaign start. All your neighbours are allied against you and hate you.
