Tough week for picks. I don't think there's going to be as much consensus this time around.
Did anyone see the Cowboys @ Vikings game tonight? Actual game wasn't anything spectacular, but the very last play, with 6 seconds left, Cowboys down by 3 on offense, was probably the most epic thing I've seen in the NFL (save maybe the Steelers Lineman that scored an 80yd touchdown).
Basically:
Romo passed it to somebody, who then pitched it backwards to someone else, who then threw it sideline to sideline to another guy, and this continued for quite a while, gaining a lot of yardage. lots of pitches in that play, the only reason it didn't continue was some guy got boxed in, tossed it backwards, hit the ground, and some Viking lineman jumped on it. he shouldn't have, I woulda loved to have seen them score with that play.
Official play-by-play entry:
(Shotgun) T.Romo pass short right to F.Jones to DAL 40 for 14 yards. Lateral to R.Williams to DAL 32 for -8 yards. Lateral to T.Romo to DAL 43 for 11 yards. T.Romo pass short right to M.Austin to DAL 40 for -3 yards. Lateral to J.Witten to DAL 34 for -6 yards. Lateral to D.Bryant to 50 for 16 yards. FUMBLES, RECOVERED by MIN-C.Greenway at DAL 39. C.Greenway to DAL 39 for no gain (T.Romo). PENALTY on DAL-T.Romo, Illegal Forward Pass, 0 yards, enforced at DAL 43.
Ironic that the quarterback is the one who doesn't pass correctly...
Favre looks so fragile.
Patriots won but they should have tried the 62 yarder at the end, would have been cooler.
Yah, it seemed like the recievers were passing better than Romo was most of the game :/
Yeah, that last Cowboys play was fun.

Combo bump/reminder for picks.
Childress must have stock in espn.
Patriots have top record so far and have two 1st's, two 2nd's, and 2 3rd's next year? Yikes.
Wade Phillips is gone in Dallas, and Garrett is in. :/
Saints just destroyed the Panthers, 34-3. 6-3 now, not too shabby boys!
Saw the Colts@Eagles game too, Colts had a chance at the end to win, they easily could've. at the 50, 47 seconds left, 24-26 Eagles. Manning kept throwing bad passes, they shoulda just given it to the Halfback a few times to get up to maybe the 40, then get the field goal. didn't the Saints get like a 56 yard field goal last year? or somebody got a past-half field field goal last year at least. I think they coulda won if they were a little smarter.
HOW BOUT DEM PACKERS?!
:beam:
Also, Cleveland beating New England - wow!
CR
wow the browns beat the patriots? thats....unexpected.
So close :(
Thursday games start this week, for all the pick-makers out there.
Cool video of the Metrodome roof collapsing. Dats gonna be 'spensive.

I feel their pain.
Hey Sasaki, do you enjoy that beating today?
:D
Steelers! Steelers!
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhh.... *collapses*

Raiders gave it a good shot but it's obvious they are climbing rapidly. Probably will get to the Super Bowl next year and will actually win it all the year after that.
Now the only thing I care about since my raiders have blown their chances are all the Wrangler jeans commericals that Farve stars in. No Farv, we have evidence that you don't wear Wranglers all the time when you are chilling at home. Save that statement for the Croc's commercial.
VICTORY, A 19-17 BLOWOUT VICTORY
Hopefully dunlap turns out to be the real deal. 7 sacks in limited playing time this year (don't think he played before the bye).
The Packers have decided to give me multiple heart attacks. How can we lose to Detroit and then go toe-to-toe with the patriots?
CR
I have come to the conclusion that fantasy football warps the minds of decent, caring football fans. My so far successful quest for championship has made me even more of a lunatic than I normally am. That I want Darren McFadden to now score like... twice against the Colts on sunday indicates that much.
Excellent, I loved the win but also look forward to the endless offseason speculation given palmer's near perfect pass rating without TO or chad.
SEAHAWKS
sad. Just sad.
Oh well, at least LSU won the cotton bowl.
bah, too bad the colts lost. Just needed more offense early in the game when they got stopped on all those 3rd and 1's.
I'll be rooting for NE then.
SEAHAWKS!
This seems appropriate:

Happy about the Seahawks, but you had better not go 2-for-2 in the NFC games this week, CR. :sweatdrop:
