In a tradition not used for centuries in history forgotten, the villagers gathered at the town center, prepared to eliminate the internal threat by democratic force. A vote was held, that each man or woman, regardless of standing, would have but one vote. A vote to kill someone, a vote to save someone, all lay in your hands.
Today dawned a new atrocity, where you would happily let a fellow human being die simply so that you would not. What is this madness, what is this needless suffering. Wanton violence brought about by paranoia, all in name of safety, in reality causing more harm than it saves.
The product of all these "proceedings" in the name of tradition?
Joooray stepped forward, unusually sober and keenly aware of his impending death.
The hooded executioner boomed in a loud voice. "Joooray, the townspeople have decreed by vote that you are the guilty party and as such will be dealt with harshly for your crimes. What do you plead?"
Fixing the executioner with a dark glare, he sneered. "Since my fellow brethren whom I've grown up with, hoisted a flagon with over all these years have decreed that I should die, by all means, I will honor their decision.
Sighing for what was to follow, the executioner drew his dagger, sharpened and razor edged. Without giving a care to anything else Joooray had to say, he leaned forward, grabbed him by the shirt, and proceeded to slash across his throat, leaving a deep red gash.
As blood spurted from his neck in his death throes, Joooray refused to show any weakness. His only regret was that someone other than him would be able to wile his days in the inn cellar, drinking up all the mead and ale.
"By the traditions of this village, justice has been meted out. Let this man's accomplices see this and know fear in their hearts."
With expressions of regret at having to do the unthinkable to survive, the villagers returned back home, for those who had their dwellings still standing.

Joooray (Lynched day 1)
A/N: For the purposes of the write up, any lynch candidate will be referred to as the "guilty party" if the constant usage of the word tradition was not noticed. (Just to clear things up)
Am I still allowed to talk?
Anyway, just real quick:
Wohoo, my first first day lynch. :laugh4:
I was quite busy yesterday and forgot to come here, and that's what I get in return? Not very nice, but well it had to happen in some game. But I will indeed miss that wine.
Of course, there are no inhibitions on the dead talking in the thread, only that they do not disclose role information or results once dead, if that wasn't clear already
Now since we also have people who haven't voted, inactivity will be dealt with by either WoG or preferably replacement if I can find another, should the person not vote for 3 day phases in total, regardless of consecutive or not.
A dark figure strolled out into the expanse of the night. Cautious that his footfalls made no overt sounds, a knife in hand, he crept up to the tent of the one known as Warman, and pulled aside the tent flaps.
Noting with delight the unused bag of herbs on the floor, the figure crouched over the prone body of Lanala, and roused her swiftly with a swift shake followed by a punch to the head.
Quickly covering her mouth with his hand so that she could not scream, the figure muttered with a cold delight in his voice. "Scream all you want little woman, no one will hear you".
Savoring the look of terror in her eyes, as well as her futile struggling, at last, the shrouded figure raised his knife, and stabbed it in her heart, ending her life instantly.
Now that the deed was done, the figure left the tent, and wiped his blade on the folds just before he left.
------------------------------------------------------------
Sprig was roused from sleep by a keen call, the call which could not be resisted, a call stronger than drink.
Hastily getting up, he only paused for a moment to grab his coat for the night was cold.
Running with no regard to any sharp edges on the ground, Sprig soon disappeared out of sight, into the magical darkness of the night.
Maybe ten minutes later, a blood curdling scream was heard, followed by unnerving silence.
------------------------------------------------------------
In the morning when the villagers awoke, they sharply noticed the absence of two of their members.
"Lanala turned up dead in her tent, a knife to her heart, and Albastor, he simply disappeared, we have found no trace whatsoever of him. To counter the threat to our town, you need to step up your game people, the kills aren't stopping!" Cried out the mayor of the town, Mr Grim, his words in direct accusation of the villagers present before him.
"Find them, and do it soon." And with that tone of finality, he walked back into the mayor's residence, and the villagers began voting anew.

FoS Sasaki Kojiro, posting only posts that contains a vote? Quite unlike you, Sasaki, you usually come forth with guns blazing randomly at the beginning of the game.
Vote: Csargo for lurking.
Unvote:YLC, Vote:Seon
I find it suspicious that you find me suspicious. Also,
Vote:Classical_Hero
Vote: Tratorix. Say something, damn you!
Vote: Seon Sasaki already explained in the starwars game that he is very busy, and you should know that
We need a little more conversation then just having votes for a second round. It is understandable for the first round, but for the second I think that a little more is required. If we all just do vote then no discussion it is pathetically easy for scum to hide. I bet 100 bucks that the scum are sitting in that neat little pile of vote no discussion. Not saying it is you YLC but at least one of those four is scum.
Also even if we take star wars to be a reason for inactivity I don't see it for this round. ATPG is in a 48 hour night phase where we can't talk how can that be affecting activity for this round?
I'm not game for 100 bucks, but I'll bet you an internet cookie. I agree with YLC that any reasons we have as of now are mere gut instincts and guesses, but if you possess any more tangible advice, keep quiet about it completely or tell everyone about it so it actually matters.
If you honestly believe what you are saying, then I wonder why you didn't mention Beskar, Captain blackadder, Tratorix and classical hero as other possible candidates for 'my mafia buddy' , since Csargo only had one vote on him, as well as the others I mentioned, had. You are fishing and cooking up these half arguments Seon..
As for the point of my vote : You Fos Sasaki, which in itself is fine ofc, but you use arguments that you know to be wrong/misguiding. Sasaki explained briefly in Starwars that he was busy. I don't approve with his short posts, but he right now, playes the exact same way as in starwars, so how can you use this against him? Imo it appears that you try to too hard to come up with reasons, since they don't hold water. A mafia knows who the guilty party is and therefore has to cook up reasons for why other people are guilty and to me, it seems this what you are doing.
An earlier post of mine, hope this helps :bow:Quote:

If you need to be replaced, please inform me in advance
But of course, the only thing Csargo said before I called him out was "Vote: someone." No explanation given, not even half-baked ones like I am doing, and not even something like cookies. It reeked of a mafia trying to slip past without trying to be noticed. Weak evidence, considering the other suspects, but still, a bad reason is better than no reason at all.
Must've missed it. I didn't know, and was actually wondering about the same thing in Star Wars. Was going to call up on that evantually :shrug:Quote:

I think town starts to right that post and then says...well everyone is just posting a vote (small game holidays day 1 etc).
