May I defend friendship (no sexual relationship) with women? One of my closest advisors is female and I do not complain about that, really. You see, women see things from different point of view and this is always helpful on numerous occassions.

i am an attractive male. i realize this. i also realize i am in university where the females are never easier.

I agree there's nothing wrong with being in "the friend zone". My best friend is a girl, and I'm happy to have the girl I mentioned earlier as a friend whether we ever get into a relationship or not.

Friend-zone is one of those things where you are only going to be just friends.

The whole idea is, some males attempt to some how get in the pants of girls, is to pretend to be their friends, then get trapped in the 'friend-zone'. A friend-zone is very good for a female though, it helps them with their self-esteem, plus they don't have to 'give out' to the males, so all the benefits of a relationship, without the annoying sex part.

I think that's a lame thing to do, if you're going to be friends with someone you should be sincere about it. I do think it's ok to be friends with someone you're interested in, because in my opinion a good relationship is based on friendship. If you couldn't stand just being friends with your girlfriend, then she's probably not right for you.
