Yeah they start behind those mountains to the left of Jinbo and that Hatekeyama(sp) province
Correction though, the Ikko monk is the one with the unique skill tree not the generals
Correction again, generals do have an altered skill tree.

I don't have the DLC but I just did a campaign as the Uesugi and the Ikko-Ikki were exactly as they are with the DLC (Ronin Samurai and all). Not mention the annoying Jodo-Shinshu believers in Etchu and Noto now.....
Ikko Ikki are a fun faction, not terribly challenging... Imagawa were my favorite faction in STW, so here's hoping for them next. I didn't think the 5$ fee was too bad, as someone said before the same price as a 12 pack of Soda... I've payed more for DLCs that had way less. Doesn't add much in terms of actual substance to the game, but it provides a nice distraction and a third perspective to the game. (Ikko Ikki are beasts on VH, Uesugi/Takeda players will have their hand's full).
I just wanted to say that the Ikko-Ikki are unbelievable in my current Legendary Oda campaign. The first 10 turns of Oda difficulty were nothing in comparison to dealing with the never ending Ikki hordes. Every single turn a new stack (or two) comes rampaging through my territories, and I can't stop them from taking provinces. I can regain the provinces they take, but they outnumber me 4 to 1 easily on the campaign map and there's only so much movement my single full stack can make to deal with their invasions. I'd pay the :daisy:s to go away, if only they'd take my money...
While talking about Ikko in game. I decided to go H/H with them...Now I've been playing h/h on every faction & thought I knew what to expect, but mother-of-all it's like realm divided from turn 3.
Figured maybe it was just a one off, so I've restarted playing different strat's, turtle, ally up, blitz, blitz-ally-turtle.
All of the above had led to rabid attacks, allies attack me, a trade partner on the other side of the map attacked me, factions I have to search the list to even find attack me.
Anyhow figured that possibly they'd tweaked the setting to make Hard a little more like VH for the Ikki's, following this to its logical conclusion switched down to normal...Every faction ignores me *yawn*
I've been playing h/h as I find normal too tame & my ego can't take the beating on vh, but the Ikki clan seems to be missing this "just right" setting, in all honesty I don't see how switching up to vh could make things any tougher in terms of constant attacks, & total economic collapse from the get go.
Is anyone else seeing this, or do I just need to go legendary until everything else seems easy?
