Are you sure 2 mafia is sufficient for a game with potentially 40 players?
At two kills per night (three per full cycle), presumably a night start:

That's a lot of lynches to live through for mafia, but it's pretty much how all the games have been, isn't it? Mafia victory is not expected.
S'pose you're right. Can't remember whether the game Subotan and I played mafia had 30 or 40 to start with. Either way we got wrecked by Day 8.

The early lynches aren't very dangerous. It's very easy for folks to skate through several rounds unharmed with that many players.Quote:

That's assuming a couple of things. First of all, that we'll get to 40 (I think we're going to fall slightly short - not that I mind, since the record amount of players in a game in the Mafia series has been 39).
