If we are wandering into the skin and bones department. I would pick Natalie Portman any day over Kiera.:on_love:

She has the curves where they matter. Watch Your Highness. Terrible movie, but she looks awesome in it.

Re: This is The Best Picture In The History Of Ever
Portman is not skin and bones by a long shot. She is a fit young woman.
Knightly looks better with a little meat, like she had in Pirates and before she got huge. Like I said before, the best way to handle this is for me to get her pregnant.
Ryder and Cates are past their prime and need to focus on knitting and getting the grandkids to school on time. But in her Youth Cates was a class act.
Cates will always get points for her pool scene and bananna scene in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, which would be illegal if released to today

Re: This is The Best Picture In The History Of Ever
Just to clarify, I meant Phoebe Cates in the 80s, not now.
-
Re: This is The Best Picture In The History Of Ever
But we cannot bring her back.
So now we have Kiera.
-
Re: This is The Best Picture In The History Of Ever
We can still watch Gremlins etc, so I have no need of Knightley.
-
Re: This is The Best Picture In The History Of Ever
I could wish Knightley had more "junk in her trunk", but otherwise I find her to be perfectly...acceptable (in lieu of a less polite term). I've never been a huge boob guy, so her chest (or lack thereof) doesn't bother me.

A little more than two muskeeto-bites would be nice but she's pretty enough for me

Re: This is The Best Picture In The History Of Ever
Kiera's best attributes are her cheekbones and her neck/shoulders. This is why she is always in period pieces, the old clothes show them off. I think MRD is right though, a kid or two would improve the rest (if it didn't kill her in the process).

(Of making them?) But she has a certain higher-class vibe going for her, not surprised she always plays certain roles, she's a lady.

Atonement was a fantastic film, I can't really imagine any other young British actresses that could have pulled off that look (and the role) as well as she did.

Re: This is The Best Picture In The History Of Ever
If we are talking about the most beautiful woman, I would Ana Ivanovic easily has Kiera covered.

Re: This is The Best Picture In The History Of Ever
Tie between Bridget Moynahan and Charice Theron.

Re: This is The Best Picture In The History Of Ever
I would eat Kiera Knightly's placenta after she gives birth to my child. I would invite Katy Holmes over to watch, and ask if she has any placenta for me to eat as well. In fact, if you are reading this now and you are female, I will eat your placenta. KTHNX

Well eating anything else, unless you add the correct preposition, is considered cannibalism, which, according to your culture, is considered either wrong or the only way to gain your opponents rich, tasty courage.

I'll keep this as frontroomy and PG-13 as possible, but eating does not need to literally mean eating everytime.

Re: This is The Best Picture In The History Of Ever
Eating a plcenta is no more cannibalism that eating someone's poo or eating their shedded hair.
The placenta is left over. It gives life.
-
Re: This is The Best Picture In The History Of Ever
No, no, I know that, I was saying eating something like the toe or the elbow would get you in trouble with the neighbors, or even THE MAN. The placenta is fine though.

Re: This is The Best Picture In The History Of Ever
To clarify, I meant Winona Ryder at the same age Knightly is now.
Otherwise it's not a fair comparison.
Having said that, Natalie Portman has rounded out quite a bit, as I recently noticed in Thor.

Keira Knightley ftw.
I want Eva Green as my goddess.

Wasn't she thirteen or so in that film? It's been a while since I've seen it, I can't remember much besides lots of shooting, a potted plant and Gary Oldman's awesomeness.

Yeah bad joke I had to. I recently saw it again and it's really one of the best movies ever. Gary Oldman is an absolutely chilling villain and Portman should have gotten an Oscar for her role as a lolita, period. I don't understand how she was able to play such a seductive character at 12 year old, she is very very talented
