Yo Wiz, i wonder if you coul;d pitch this unified idea to the other guys in EB and get their opinions...wouldn't be right for a few of us to hijack EB and proclaim a merger all of a sudden.

Which EB? It is mostly dead. The founder was Stefan the Berseker
Members, randomly ordered:
The_Emperor
Big King Sanctaphrax
frogbeastegg
PSHYCO
Nowake
Monk
Stefan the Berserker
Revenant69
Parmenio
Aymar de Bois Mauri
Cebei
Teutonic Knight
The ones coming up with decent material: Stefan, Psycho, Aymar, and myself, also frogbeastegg and The Wizard. And not even one material is completely finished.
What I would like to add: no need for tons of links and pictures. No need. What one must present is coherent material. Not history, but social, economic and military (of course) aspects, with sugestions on how to be implemented. Pictures should also be posted in order to ilustrate material. Random links and pictures should be postd only if requested by other member who lacks material.
As for me, I must say that I won't be able to participate actively in the coming 2 weeks, due to exams. My material on dacians will be completed after this period, also I have some schetches on Thracians, Sarmatians and Germans.
as if in wilful disregard of nowake's post, ima posting a link alone it contains some info aout various types of persian cavalry (derived from armenia, scythia, bedia, etc.). it contains some details about what certain cavalry models should look like, such as having clipped manes/tied tails, etc.
edit: also, it talks a bit aobut the persian economy in terms of 'horse tribute' (but i don't think that's something to be implemented in r:tw.. but i could be wrong).

Sorry for taking so long with the plates. Still haven't gotten the books, shouldn't arrive until July second http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif Darn slow Amazon
Oh, about merging with EB, from what I understand our two goals are not the same. We're for a mod, their for... I'm not quite sure, but not a mod I think.
We are for historical accuracy - so are you people doing the mod thing.
To best further both our goals, it would be great to merge our pools (and sinc Europe Barbarorum is already very far into research...) of information.
